I'm impressed by the seamless working of everything, I remember chat not working on the One for about 6 weeks.

But like others no real game wow factor yet, although Forza Horizon 4 is VERY pretty.

The drive should be 3TB though, if games are going to be around 150gb already what on earth will they weigh it at this time next year?

Agreed the expansion drives better drop in time and have larger capacity once more vendors jump onboard. Guessing its a price point thing with the X and ps5 even having 200gb less. Going to be very limiting very quickly on the Series S!

Interesting that 360 games work too given it basically boots the old os. Or does it do it differently now?

They run inside a Virtual Machine (which for 360 games runs the 360 OS) like pretty much everything since Xbox One, so they're treated like any other game really.

Apparently some games don't work with Quick Resume. Though I'm not sure if that means they just don't work at all, they crash or that because they're 'always online' you get booted back to the menu.

Forza Horizon 4 didn't quick resume for me yesterday for example. It seemed to think about it for about 10 seconds and then proceeded to boot it fresh.

Note Quick Resume is bugged and has been disabled for certain titles like Watch Dogs Legion, Forza Horizon 4 and Dirt 5 until Microsoft can patch the OS.

Call of Duty Cold War launched a few hours, Looks nice on the Series S, Trying to work out what Res it's running at as it's really clean.

I’m adamant that Valhalla needs a massive patch and quick
It also looks no better than odyssey did and I played loads of that on an S

Have been playing the most recent Tomb Raider game and that looks gorgeous
As good / better than gears 5

Just sold Watchdogs but it never outstayed its welcome. It was a hoot whizzing around the streets of London recognising all the real life places. Boggles the mind the amount of effort that goes into making these games.

The heart of the game is the new recruitment mechanic. It worked well until I recruited a spy. He had the best car and gun in the game coupled with decent abilities so not much need to play as anyone else.

The thing I missed the most from previous games was the ability to jump into some random players world and try to hack them without being detected. Wonderfully unique idea. No idea if this is being included with the multiplayer in December. They missed the boat either way but hats off for trying something new.

Runs smooth as silk on the One X too. Shame that after the first 2 games it then reverted to form and started putting me into games that were half over with enemy chopper gunners and endless UAVs circulating. Managed an hour before rage quitting.

Are you playing on Series X or S? Runs flawlessly on my Series X.

There is a very peculiar graphical 'raindrop' feature they've added when sailing, which makes it look like there is pop-up in the distance, when it's actually their digital raindrops distorting already rendered polygons.

The more footage of Valhalla I watched before the release the less interested I was and I have every Assassins Creed game (well, the proper ones anyway including Rogue). However, the game hooked me from the prologue and I’ve been so impressed with the game so far.

The accessibility features are flipping awesome; which probably won’t matter to most people. Can I recommend turning on the audio boost option for dialogue in the Sound menu. I noticed in the very first scene that there was quite a lot going on in the background, this just makes the dialogue audio more prominent.

I bloody love AC, my favourite series full stop. Rogue was dull tho and didn't rate the side scrolling ones either.
I've never bought one day one mind. In 3 months it'll be 50% off (hyperbole*)

Something I noticed yesterday and not sure if noticed before /always been the case ..

When I go to my complete game library, it does not list games I have from games with good unless the are back compatible titles. So things like stuntman show, but other games I have and can play by game pass, but are true Xbox one generation titles only show under the games with gold section

I swear all games used to show under the all games part of the library and strange previous generation ones do
