That's a useful site. The layout could do with a bit of tweaking and it really shows how bad our prices are

And nothing about it preloading, though clearly the release date says the 31st and there's no achievements or game clips (smartglass)

Those are some huge savings on the digital side. Gotta be an average of around 40% or so versus UK digital prices (which are generally more expensive than retail of course, but you get to keep the games in this case making it a better comparison to PC imo).

edit - yep, I thought Live was the bulletproof network that never went down... or is this another ISIS attack?

Is anyone running their TV through their Xbox full time?
I'd really like to now that Plex is setup and running, but when I pass my Foxsat through the sound is VERY quiet - i have to turn the volume right up... anyone having similar issues with TV passthrough?

From my Plex experiments this week....
It is literally perfect for smaller MKVs. It's played 100% of everything I've thrown at it up to about 2gb.
For Movies at about the 3-7gb, also perfect.
For Movies 7-11 - played most of them.
Stuff over 11GB is hit and miss.
So I'm just going to rip my stuff at a lower bit-rate and slowly re-rip my stuff when I can be bothered. 7-11gb still seems to be DD/DTS and 1080p.
It's a brilliant app.

I have my Sky+ through the Xbox, no volume issues but I'm sick to death of it losing the signal everytime I go from an SD channel to an HD channel, the Xbox loses the signal and I have to wait up to a minute for it to find it again.

Just taken the plunge (xbone, kinect for £299).
Want to use plex, so that's on my list. Maybe Sky+ passthrough (though I have a HDMI splitter so can do "both" passthrough and direct HDMI).
Any must-have games? Esp the marketplace stuff.. Not into shooters.

Remember you need Plex Pass for Plex, and you must be running the latest version of Plex Server.
I'd go for Defense Grid 2 (from the HK marketplace), and EA Access for starters. If you like Driving games then Forza's a must. Diablo is great and also available cheap from HK or Indian marketplace.
I'd also pick up Assassin's Creed cheap from ebay.
Mordor is excellent, but will be £34ish digital or £37ish disc.

This issue is under investigation on the preview forums, they do know about the problem, and a fix should be forthcoming, they have fixed everything else about the tv app, no reason why this won't be fixed
