I wonder if Naughty Dog will save some time now for their next project with the new engine. Ideally I'd like to see a new Naughty Dog game in 2018/2019

Finished it, absolutely loved it. The only stumbling point for me was a poorly realised final boss, but that's pretty much become a staple of the series (the first three games had awful boss fights at the end too).
Hmm, strange. I've attempted about 7 games and every time I get lag and then eventually D/C. I never have problems with playing online usually... anyway, apart from that, I quite enjoy the MP.
Just had a chance to play through the first couple of chapters late last night & boy does it look mighty pretty! I probably spent more time admiring the textures & graphical FX than actually playing the game.
Only worry is like others have said, my PS4 which up to now I thought was reasonably quiet, sounded like a wounded drone throughout despite waiting for my living room to cool down...
I don't think we have to worry about the fan, I think its turned up to 11 by ND by default, as it started up before the game even showed a frame of game engine GFX.
After I installed it from the disk and ran it, it launched the display settings/options page and quickly killed it as it complained that the disk was unreadable/dirty. However before it got even that far the fan was buzzing.
My fan's not been too bad so far. However, after my play session on Tuesday the living room was noticeably warm, so it's obviously putting out a lot of hot air.
Found myself trying to only do a couple of chapters an evening, I want to enjoy this and look forward to playing again the next day. I suggest a film to the misses yesterday but she said "Why don't you play that Uncharted game, I like that". Happy Days!
Only Naughty Dog games have that effect.

I keep looking at scenes thinking, how can this be in game ND really are on another level the whole thing looks incredible but it's all the little tiny details too.
fans are working hard but not to a level that's at all distracting, I have muted a few times to check and it's still quieter than most consoles I've owned, it is in a well ventilated spot.
