If we get CL then we have more chance of keeping him for another year, it's only a matter of time though before he goes somewhere else and can you really blame him? Of course somewhere abroad would be better

He has fully deserved his plaudits this year.

Bale FWA Player of the Year.

I hope he stays at Spurs or goes to Spain - it'd be sickening to see him wasting his years at City.
I think he wouldn't be wasted but would be devastating as left hand side of an attacking three

But he'd still have to look at himself in the mirror.

Re: The Tottenham Hotspur Thread 2012/2013

Lennon, BAE and Dembele back in the team today, no Parker:

Lloris; Walker, Dawson, Vertonghen, Assou-Ekotto; Lennon, Dembele, Huddlestone, Dempsey; Bale, Defoe.

Dembele crocked again, Holtby coming on, very drab performance so far and BAE having one of his bad days.

That was a steal thanks once again to Bale, awful performance but at this stage of the season I don't care.

Exactly the kind of 3 points we should be capable of getting - ie: not playing very well but getting the breakthrough anyway (and what a strike!).

Definitely not a one man team though...

Now watch us cock it up against Chelsea anyway. Mind you, we do tend to up our game against the big boys - it's the lower half we struggle to break down.

The Tottenham Hotspur Thread 2012/2013

We certainly got out of jail after an awful performance. Looks like we have a cup final midweek although still plenty of work to do even if we win.

Re: The Tottenham Hotspur Thread 2012/2013

Really wasn't a good result for us today, still in our own hands but made much more difficult now.

The Tottenham Hotspur Thread 2012/2013

It was pretty much there anyway but really does make Wednesday an absolute must win.

So who else hasn’t been able to stop thinking about this? Seems like Lennon and Dembele will be out and Parker half fit. As we have to win I’d play Defoe and Ade but we know that won’t happen, just can’t see how Dempsey can start ahead of them (or even Sig) in any position.

Also hope we don’t further handicap ourselves by playing Naughton even though BAE was shaky last game.

God, I’d ******* love it if we won at their place

Re: The Tottenham Hotspur Thread 2012/2013

Haven't won there in the Premier League.... then again we hadn't won at Old Trafford either so records are capable of being broken this season! Lennon is available but not 100% fit so I'd keep him as a sub, there are still two games left after this.
