Didn't like it. He 'played' for the pen but I do like to see City players trying to stay on their feet

Glad to get a win under our belt, especially after United's comeback today.
Johnson's penalty looked soft at best - didn't think that it was a penalty on first viewing, but replays showed there was a trip. He did go down very easily though.

He blatantly hooked his leg round the defender! It was never a legit penalty in a million years.

A good win in difficult conditions. I was surprised it was only 5 mins added on time with the line clearing going on. Hopefully Kompany's knee will be ok for the villa match. It was good to see Balotelli celebrating the goals.

I do think the Adam johnson penalty was a penalty, from the angles it's seen from on TV, 1 looks like he kicks his leg out and dives, the others suggest the "kick out" was his leg being dragged out of line but contact. Even so, Silva should have had a penalty later in the game so even for those feeling aggrieved it's balanced out.

Johnson's 2nd call was a blatant dive though and Mancini needs to have words.

Johnson CLEARLY swung his leg in order to catch it around the defender. Blatant cheating and needs to be stamped out of the game.

Not really aggrieved, i want you to win the league. But that doesn't really justify cheating, hopefully the refs have all clocked Johnson as a diver now and he gets no decisions and no protection now..... that would balance it out :-)

Do you happen to have a slow mo gif of the incident? when watching on TV and slow mo video its all still a bit 50/50. 1 angle does look like he kicks out, others make it look like his leg was pulled out of line when it was caught, making it look like he kicked. But in the videos it's impossible to see exact times of contact.

Personally I cant abide diving at all (suarez *cough* *cough* ) so if this was one I'll happily admit it, im just not 100% clear either way with Johnson's penalty decision.

We lose one Youth player to United.... and gain one from Real Madrid.

Well Jose Angel has finally signed for Manchester City. The youth has left merengue Valdebebas to enlist in the ranks of the Manchester team. Madrid has admitted for the operation, the not inconsiderable figure of 3 million euros. Good relations between the two teams have facilitated the agreement .

Initially, the City was only obliged to pay duty of training the player to have only 15, but the good relations between Real Madrid and England have enabled the white team enter those 3 million, he claims The Confidential .

Well is now in Manchester , but may not present with the lower categories of computer citizen until age 16 next March. In his day, another young Spanish talent also emigrated to the Premier. The Ayala, Bellerín, Suso or Ignasi Miquel emigrated looking for a place in the prestigious British competition.

Well the former Real Madrid travels to England to try to demonstrate the enormous talent that has become something he has done with only 15 years in under-17 international.

To be honest I'd rather they (the refs) judged each incident of foul play on it's own merits than came to the game with a preconceived idea of they will protect and who they won't

Judging by this offensive display I can see why. Funny how principles go out the window when the team is struggling a little.

I can see the funny side of the mascot avoiding shaking hands due to childhood naivety, but it's proof that footballers are role models to young children and unfortunately children copy their heroes.
