The Masters 2012

Already been a vintage year for golf and it's really just started . The Masters promises to be a cracker. Tiger almost back to his best and with Luke Donald , Rory McIlroy , Lee Westwood and Justin Rose leading a strong British group the winner is hard to pick. I'm going to have an each way punt on American Keegan Bradley who seems to be in top 10 almost every week and hits the ball a country mile.

Looking forward to it - I'm sticking small wagers on Phil Mickelson, Luke Donald, Justin Rose and Jason Day.

Money on Rory, Darren and Graeme for obvious reasons, although Graeme isn't a bad each way bet at 90.0 . Also money on Bubba Watson, Rickie Fowler and am going to stick a bit on Keegan Bradley as well now as a few people have tipped him.

Would love Rory to win

No Liverpudlians to bet on?

Just kidding, at least here's a thread where we can enjoy the action together ...... although I hope Luke Donald and Phil Mickelson finish ahead of Rory, Darren and Graeme!

Anyone but Poulter is fine with me. Be interesting to see if Rory can put himself in contention early on.

lol if there was I would happily throw my money away on them too.

Indeed, we can be nice to each other on this thread lol

I'm hoping Clarke pulls off a miracle, as well as sentimental reasons, a fiver at something like 700-1

Paddy Power will refund all losing single bets if Tiger wins and are also offering 1/4 the odds first 6 - personally I will be putting a decent bet on Keegan Bradley and an each-way on Zach Johnson & John Senden.

If Woods played like he did when he won the Arnold Palmer 2 weeks ago then I cant see anyone beating him. His swing looks solid and he is certainly hitting much straighter off the tee. His new found ability to cut the ball off the tee can only help him at Augusta.

Outside Woods, Rory has a chance but I wonder if last year will loom large for him. Mickelson can never be ruled out at Augusta. I'll have a fiver on Hunter Mahan too, very solid start to 2012 including 2 wins.

Shocking finish to Stensons round. 8 on 18 to finish on -1, poor guy.

Woods now in trouble on 18 also, Westwood off to a flyer

Could have been worse for Woods on that 18th but he'll be kicking himself after those final two holes.

Not as much as Stenson with that 8 though.

Ouch for Stenson. I have Bubba Watson who's looking good at 50.0, only a fiver on him though.

Nothing against Mickelson but scenes like that make me feel a bit better about my game

Watching it in 3d really shows how hilly the course is. Great coverage by Sky . An additional bonus of the 3d channel is getting American commentators which gives you a different perspective from the main coverage.
