I would expect him to not even think about how he reacts. Certainly not degrade himself and the team by crying like a child if he is not injured.

That foul would be given nearly every time, the theatrics add nothing. And to be honest, I would rather be annoyed at the ref than our star player, so I will live with the decisions that he no longer gets.

Do you seriously think there's nothing in between those two extremes? Christ.
And it's nonsense to say that attacking players get nothing "99% of the time"; players are far more protected now than ever before (which I'm happy with, I'd rather see players who are able to play good football be allowed to do it).

I'm not sure I understand what you're saying here. Do you mean Kompany holding his arms open in a "nothing in that, ref" gesture? Almost every defender does that after almost every foul. That might tie in with your "everyone else is doing it, why shouldn't Suarez?" argument, but Kompany's reaction is infinitely more benign than Suarez trying his best to convince referees to book opposing players every two minutes.

I wouldnt class him as an out and out "diver", he goes down way too easy and looks for contact, but there is always some contact..........still bad, dont like it, not condoning it, but there is as bad, if not worse, out there in that regard. Henderson and Downing have been caught falling over with no contact which is slightly worse. Lampard is pretty bad too, but never seems to get mentioned.

He is one of the worst with the theatrics, which draws peoples attention to him more.................... Nani is worse though.

Just want him to stop it really, doesnt really matter where he is in the cheater league....shouldnt be on there at all.

Nani for a start. He's an embarrassment of a man the the way he rolls around crying like a baby sometimes.

Thanks for your input lou. He is a diver (see him at stoke for example?), doesn't really matter if he does it more or less. Am not really interested in ranking cheats.

Out of context, but it says it all really when some rival fans only pipe up to defend their own cheats.

Where am I defending Nani? I'm more interested in your "not ranking cheats" comment in the light of mentioning Nani as worse than Suarez.

You wouldn't have commented if i didn't mention your player. That's why you are arguing semantics with me.

Others were on saying he was the worst diver. My post was pointing out the 2 separate elements of "simulation" and named players that partake in both. If you want to rank them, you need to combine the 2,but why would you bother? I also said at the end that i would rather he wasn't even included at all.

So what you are saying is that Suarez is not as good a diver as Nani, but a better all rounder when it comes to simulation and cheating.

I think the important thing to remember here is that regardless of who is worse out of Suarez and Nani, it's Ferguson's fault.

If you're going to assume why I mentioned it, then there's really no point in having the debate.

I'm confused, if someone is better at fooling the ref, does that make them better or worse? Lol

...... but i blame Ferguson too ;-)

Looking forward to tonight's game - seems a little odd to be playing again 48 hours after the last game mind!

Reckon we might go with this XI tonight:

Reina
Kelly
Carra
Coates
Aurelio
Maxi
Spearing
Adam or Henderson
Downing
Bellamy
Carroll
