WTF - the ground is empty.

Pretty impressive that the away end is sold out for this game even after Kenny said not to bother.

Can't enjoy the result until I get some info on Lucas.

If he's out for any substantial length of time, it's been a very costly night.

It's empty now...

They started leaving about 10 mins ago.

Very surprised about how bad Chelsea were...We looked far more of a unit than they did.

Without seeing the stats, I'd guess we bossed the possession as well.

Good performances all round tonight (Carroll's penalty miss aside). First time I've seen Coates and he was very assured throughout.

And how the hell did Lukaku escape a red card for that tackle !!! If there isn't a 3 match suspension from the video panel then the system is flawed.

Oh an please let United get City in the semis

Indeed - though we do have an easyish (though the same was said about Swansea and Norwich at home) run of games for a couple of months now so who knows.

It didn't look good though

Amazing really isn't it. 18 months ago I'd have said you're out of your mind

It was touching to hear Liverpool and Cardiff fans chanting for Gary Speed. Be a shame to sully that by trying to score snidey points.

Nothing snide about it I'm totally up front in my thoughts on their classlessness.
Outside of Everton they are the worst fans to visit Anfield every year.

And coming from someone who sticks his nose into every thread on here in such a confrontational manner that's a bit rich coming from you.

Word from the ground is that Lucas' injury isn't too bad so up hopefully on that front. At least he has till Monday to recover from the knock.

I know that a chant went up 'There's only one Gary Speed' at the Arsenal V's City game.

Hope Gary's death shines a light on the illness of depression. What can drive a man to do that, it does need looking at and the only thing that I hope is that many, many folk going through this will take some kind of inspiration from Gary and believe that it Can happen to anyone and seek help

Has it been confirmed that he was suffering depression?
