I don't know why you encourage him - how far can he reasonably expand "City are grotesque and I'm not jealous, honest guv". If only we were whiter than white like Harry Redknapp and his bunch of likeable home-grown cockneys.
If only we had a chairman who kicked the whole $ky money bandwagon off with sales of his satellite dishes in the first place.

So, just to be clear here, you are against televised football?

Rob whining on about satellite dishes as though that had some relevance to the obscence losses posted by your 'club'.

I'm on here to rub your face in the filth that your 'club' is wallowing in.

I've got to admit, but even though United have the experience of grinding out Premier League wins and lasting the course of the season, I can't see City letting this lead slip.

Maybe. The only thing is that City don't have the experience of a season-long CL campaign to contend with too. United have been doing that for years, and that could possibly be a factor. Other than that though, even with less than a third of the season gone, City do look almost unstoppable in the league.

I will still be surprised if we actually win the league

We have a load of games coming up and I would be very surprised if we come through unscathed. United know how to win a league and City do not. When the pressure starts to mount City could buckle. Everyone knows I hope to God they don't but it's a long hard season and their are many twists and turns yet to take.

A witty snappy answer but it has no depth. You say that Manchester City are ruining football, whislt I argue that it was ruined already

You post here more often than the team you say you support. Yet you claim that Manchester City are nothing to do with sports.

Bloody hell the time that my local team gets a spanking you will be here to gloat quicker then a woman in a Bangkok brothel

If it was ruined already, how is everything City is doing not making it worse?

You've posted incessantly about how they are good for the game and now imply they are merely joining a broken system?

It is entertaining though!

Micah not playing for England is paying off for City though - what a beast

You still have nothng to say about the way that we are playing after your outbursts against Mancini's style last season which you were so quick to condemn. Look at your post after the City V's Arsenal game last season

I don't follow England at all, but know that he's been great for us us this season

Dou you remember Crystal Palace. I thought Cantona was a player that was a different class but so is Mad Mario

Fair enough you are the first time I think I've met an United fan who wasn't a fan of Cantona, but Mad Mario reminds me of him

Personally never saw the fuss about Cantona, understood he was the impetus for the team, but as an individual, nope. Ballotelli reminds me of Rooney, if he hadn't been guided, probably more like Gazza.

I don't think they had an option, until the PLC it was their club? Unlike Cook, who was 'just' an employee, hence his departure...

While Ł8m was a huge amount back then, you didn't post anything stating how United couldn't afford it?

When the Premiership was invented, United had no more 'right' to hoover up money than Arsenal, Liverpool, Leeds, or even City. While it gave them the opportunity, they were just more adept at doing so...
