Disgraceful goal to give away there.

Bassong and Gomes want sacking at half time.

Pathetic performance.

Let's just hope we never have to play this back four in the Prem. Admittedly they're all coming in cold but it's pretty shocking!

If we aren't at least back in it by half time and Harry makes no changes, you can safely say he's happy to toss away the Europe League before xmas.

Not really sure why he'd change it, it's the defence that's the problem
Corluka and Bassong both seem to get worse each time they play, suspect this is their farewell appearance, Gomes too won't be seen often again

That was simply woeful, Harry better give them all right barging at half time otherwise it's all over. The back 5 plus Pienaar and Kane have been stinking, Modric and Lennon are the only ones going forwards with the ball and Defoe is admirably sticking a challenge in all over the pitch.

I'd give them 10 minutes to get an equaliser otherwise bring on a couple of subs, maybe Bale and Townsend.

Many of the team have been fluffed one or more of late.

Penalties definitely haven't been our strong point.

Bassong still looks utter toss though so he can be hoiked at HT.

Very harsh on PAOK that Red, I don't think the player knew anything about it. Shocking finishing too but I'll take it. Bassong and Corluka have been awful, Modric excellent tonight

I swear, half the referees working today don't actually know the rules of the game!

Sure, it would have been harsh but the defender was still in play.

Abject performance from Spurs.

Bassong Gallas Rose Livermore Kane Gomes Pienaar were all crap.

Bale was awful, aside from flashes from Defoe and Lennon and the usual hard work by Modric, that was absolutely painful to watch.

As for the officiating ....... why not just make it up as you go along you cloggy ********.

Paid for the pure sloppiness and lack of concentration at the start of the match, very poor performance and result.

Wrong tactics towards the end. Can't leave Defoe upfront as the lone striker!

Which in itself, if it meant that Bassong and Gomes NEVER played for the team again, I might just about be able to swallow that.

One of the things that's always ****** me off about Redknapp is that he tossed away the competition, packing the starting 11 with has beens and some never will be's.

I was resigned to giving up on Gomes a long time ago, Bassong shortly afterwards, Pienaar after that and now Corluka - surely the slowest player known to man

You can't be blaming Gomes for tonight, surely? Bassong was at fault for both goals and Corluka didn't do well either.

Yes Redknapp really didn't do us any favours but to be fair we've had a lot of injuries. That said we should have been top of the group so that any slip ups don't matter. Why not start with a strong team tonight and then take them off?

The ref was useless, he let them get away with too much then he sends one off for nothing. I'm not sure why people are criticising him for the disallowed goal. He didn't see the incident before the ball went in but the incident occurred before it went in

Our problem tonight was we over passed it when we really needed to shoot. That said some of the shots were poor, Kane hit it straight at the player on the line (fortunatly as it turned out), and there were some equally poor shots

Yeah he waddles along like he's lame.

To be honest, we got what we deserved from that line up:too many young and not good enough (yet ?) players and some old dross.

Our "standby" defence is worse than Chelsea and I didn't expect to be saying that this season.

I have no problem with the lineup, they are all highly paid professionals and in many cases internationals so they should have been good enough to win the match - they were just **** tonight and will struggle to ever play their way into the team again.

Why not ?

He touched the ball twice in the game didn't he ?

I don't recall him getting anywhere near either of their efforts that ended in goals, so bearing in mind, I still believe he has serious eyesite problems, yes, I feel quite within my right to apportion blame on him, though he was by no means alone in tonights shambolic exit from the E.L.

Bassong was equally clueless, slow, not picking up anyone, getting caught out of position etc.
