45 minutes of absolute **** pansie football.

BAE looks every bit the liability we know he is.

Modric looks like little boy lost against the "tough" teams as usual.

Gallas looks too slow for this kind of game but not many options available.

VDV still looks unfit and is barely in the game and it seems due to Stoke shortening and narrowing their pitch quite a bit, neither Lennon nor Bale is getting very much chance to make the incisive runs.

Ref is scared ******** of Pulis and Stoke as Crouch's first assist was hand ball and Woodgate should be off for an early bath already. Also a handball in their area also not noticed by the one sided ref.

Spurs attacks, what little we've had, have been far far too slow as Stoke have every player behind the ball by the time we get to their area.

VDV, Modric and Adebayor off at half time, for Defoe, Sandro and anybody else.

We look very poor and frightened by the Stoke pressing and fouls.

Very disappointed in their showing thus far.

Only one I'd take off is VDV. He's pretty anonymous so I think we'd be better off with JD as support higher up the pitch.

Start was awful but we were in the groove although without creating much when the second goal came. Well against the run of play. Modric was starting to be the engine again.

Benni was fine! The only defensive mistakes have been Kaboul and Parker for each goal

Very lucky to get the penalty but unlucky to not get the other

Edit, Kaboul should have scored. It was a handball and then Adebayor's goal is wrongly rulled out for offside. What is this ref doing?

Edit 2: Kaboul off, this ref is a joke

VDV departs - an hour later than he should have.

I'm possibly biased but I would say the Ref has got every big decision wrong today and also a couple of smaller decisions aswell how difficult is it to give a corner, Not to mention that Adebayor was onside and Spurs should have had another 2 penalties (one which led to Kabouls first yellow) and Stoke could be down to ten men as well

The most biased and plain wrong "refereeing" display I have EVER seen in my life.

How in the **** can Foy not see some of those hand balls ?

Players getting kicked, held, dragged down left right and centre.

I knew Fergie had a hold on refs but Pulis ?, my god, why even have a ref if so many of the obvious decisions are ignored.

As for Bale, you showed yourself to be an absolute chicken in the tackle and should be ashamed of yourself, especially after you gobbed off at a fellow player earlier in the game when he didn't give you the ball.

Awful 'performance' by the referee today, only managed to see the last 30 mins or so but having had so many decisions go against you would probably make you throw your head up. Shame to lose the unbeaten run in such dubious fashion but they have to pick themselves up again for the next league match to stay in contention at the top end of the table.

That is how Stoke play. Nothing new. We did not deal with it and it will be a tough winter if we cannot mix it up a bit.

Obviously you know Stokes mentality and methods, so you ought to be able to play against that, but you simply can't play against a bent and blind (when he chose to be) ref.

Foy, you are an absolute disgrace.

Absolutely poor, game-changing decisions aside, we paid the price for bad set-piece defending and coming out of the blocks slow. Stoke put pretty much everything they had in those first 20-25 mins and if we could have kept level, they were there for the taking as were never going to be able to keep that pace of attacking and closing down.

But still Foy and the assistants are blind as **** and we were definitely denied at least a point by them alone!

The ref doesn't decide offsides but his assistant dropped the ball on that one!

Can you please explain what Sarah, Duchess of York has to do with ref's? I know she once had her toe's sucked, but.....

Referee and referee's assistant's cost us a point, Van Der Vaart might as well have not been on that pitch. We sorely missed Ledley King in that 1st half.

game highlighted Harry's lack of technical prowess. We should have known what to expect from Stoke and how to deal with it, not have to wait until half time to amend our game plan. Not a game for VDV to be starting, Defoe up front would have allowed us more control of the game

That said, we should have had at least another penalty in second half and 2-0 at H/T flattered them.

....... all true, but let's not forget, if Foy thought that Kaboul deserved a yellow for telling him he was wrong not to award one of quite a few pens we should have had, then giving him a 2nd one for that foul on 80 mins, Woodgate should've been off within the first 30 mins for his numerous fouls.

Like I said though, dodgy refereeing at it's absolute worst.

as a spurs fan and a swansea city season ticket holder i am reporting that steven caulker is a top notch centre back, not sure if we can sign, hope we can, him and ashley williams are the real deal.
2 goals conceded in 8 games for the swans, spurs coming new years eve, well looking forward to it.
