Aguero is a great player to watch (still enjoy seeing his 2nd goal against River in 2006). With the ball at his feet he's incredibly sharp and hard to predict. As long as he settles in the team he should be a great signing for City. He isn't among the top 10 players in the world yet but he certainly has the ability.

Either the Castrol rankings are nonsense or City missed a great chance to upgrade the attacking midfield department by signing Kevin Nolan and ditching Toure or Silva.

Mancini has just been on SSN in a press conference saying that he's still in the market for a 'Midfielder' and a player 'like a winger' so that will be interesting

Take your pick from (in probability order):- Cerci, Nasri, Lavezzi, Mata, De Rossi & Sneijder

But the nod I feel will go to Richards because he seems to have dropped all the off field distractions and learnt to focus on what made him a wealthy young man in the first place. I get the feeling that if he remains injury free he will be a monster this coming season.

Maybe I didn't see City enough last season, but I remember Richards being very very ordinary. I'd have thought Zabaleta would have been in front of him.
As for mixing up Villa & Silva in the previous, I must have thought that surely you've bought Villa by now too.

Anything but. Back close to his early career form. A physical monster of a defender - expecting big, big things from him this year, both going forward and back.

Love Zabaleta, but on form that is a no contest. Pablo will get plenty of playing time, but Richards is a clear first choice for me.

I don't remember him being ordinary that often. I thought he started the season poorly but played really well for the second half of the season.

Good win for your lot this afternoon - gave Inter a spanking.

Wonder if there was any opportunity for Mancini to tap up Wesley or Eto'o?

It's been a bit quiet around here but things maybe hotting up.

I Maybe jumping the gun but going by some city forums and gossip it sounds as though Arsenal have agreed to Ł22m for Nasri and it will be sorted quickly, maybe even before the Community Shield on Sunday.

Perhaps you might sell some tickets to it if he does?

We've sold plenty thanks, about 5 days ago there were apparently ( posted on a city forum after asking ticket office ) about 3k cheap seats left, plenty of time for those to sell.

The only reason United allocation sold out so quickly is Season ticket holders are forced to buy tickets for all cup matches therefore guaranteeing a sell out each time.

Edit: Appears that United Season ticket holder only have to buy home cup tickets.

By all accounts we just signed a Goalie called Pantilimon cant say I've ever heard of him before.

Confirmed: http://www.mcfc.co.uk/News/Team-news...per-Pantilimon

Edit: Mancini says 2-3 more players, no idea if this is including the goalie

Thought there were a load of Man U fans in the City end - luckily it just turned out to be swathes of empty seats
