[News] Get into Blu-ray for £40!

Comments attached to the News 'Get into Blu-ray for £40!' on Home Cinema @ The Digital Fix

ASDA have started selling a Blu-ray player for just £40 - that's the same as buying a couple of discs! Not bad, eh? It's their own brand, ONN, kit and on first impressions is reasonably well built and specified for the money.

If there's an easy way to make this multi-region, I'm very interested.

I'm only quoting what I've read on forums, I have no personal experience with this...

but apparently the Toshiba BDX1200 can be made multi-region with Australian firmware...

AV forums...

I've read that it's £50 instore at Richer Sounds. £70 on Amazon.
