I see Rosicky has had another minor injury setback - do you think he is ever going to be fully fit again?

I can only think that Wenger (who is normally 2nd to none in the transfer market) has got some master plan, as right now it looks like you're just selling your spot in the CL to Manchester City.

Unsurpisingly Toure's admitted that a move to City's been on the cards since the winter; around the time that he handed in a transfer request.

Strange that.

If there is any truth in the speculation about Hangeland, he won't be able to play in Europe until next year as he played for Fulham tonight.

Yes. The team is crumbling. We've sold a striker and a defender, and bought as defender. And we're looking for more players. But then you're only asking to get a rise out of people and I guess I've just bitten. Ho hum.

And if Wenger didn't give a rats bum, he'd have ****** off a long time ago. Our time will come. Arsene knows...

When the journo's stop being lazy lying ***** getting their stories from fan forums, and for this one - a mischevious made up faked page from Arse.com with de Rossi included in the squad floating about a couple of days back

I mean the amount of utter made up ******** in that story is incredible.

Still would love it to happen though

St Etienne's defensive midfielder Blaise Matuidi is also being linked with Arsenal in some papers today. Sounds more likely.

Its quite good this year, you get a decent toiletry bag with leather passport holder and luggage tag, scarf, yearbook and DVD.

Your tone is unfortunate as the original poster is only posting what a lot of people are thinking. What's most concerning probably is who your selling to. So lighten up eh!

On the positive side, Wenger has shown time and time again what a genius he is (particularly in the transfer market). Added to that Andre Arshavin will in my opinion be THE player of the 2009/2010 season. So it is certainly not all doom and gloom from where I'm sitting.

We are selling to a team that has more money than sense and yet to prove competition for the "Big 4"

£40m for two players who had poor last seasons and will miss a part of next for ACN is a deal, a steal, its sale of the ******* century!

The key word in your sentence is 'yet'. Do you want to be the team on the receiving end when they do prove competition for the big 4? I didn't think so.

It's a steal if you keep your place in the CL. If not, then the complete opposite will be true, as getting back into the top 4 once you're out of it is extremely difficult.

One could easily say that Liverpool are in a vulnerable position when it comes to losing their CL place, especially if the lose Xabi Alonso, there is also the need for all the new Citeh stars to gel into a cohesive team, how is Sparky going to accommodate all those superstar strikers (and egos that go with them), add to the fact that a mega rich new chairman could also be very trigger happy (see Ranieri when Abramovich came in), I think it will take 2-3 seasons before Citeh can be true contenders, by then who knows what could have happened to Arsenal, Wengers faith in the youth might have come good.

Football is full of uncertainties.

For me its wide open at the top. Will Man Utd be able to cope without Ronaldo, especially if other key players like Rooney miss games through injury? Do Liverpool have alternatives up front to Torres and Gerrard? Does Chelsea's older squad have enough to last the season? Can Man City play as a team and keep all those egos happy? Could Villa or Everton build on what they achieved last season? Who knows?

Edit - Contact between Arsenal and Bordeaux over Chamakh apparently - http://www.football365.com/story/0,1...463637,00.html.

Yeah this season should hopefully be more interesting, and surely has to be, at least a bit more entertaining than last season's dullfest.

The top 4 all seem weaker, a fifth has surely made the biggest leap towards them than any other club has done and, for me, the level of the Premiership is dropping and will continue to do so so may start to even the playing field out even more.
