I for one am happy with a top 4 finish for arsenal given how much money the other teams spend. I go to watch arsenal to have a good day out and enjoy watching attractive football...I don't want to pay £50 for a game for arsenal just to grind out a 1 nil win in the most boring way possible (think bolton).

Come on arsenal

There is no doubt that Arsenal are one of the very best teams to watch in the Premier League. Out of interest though, when did you start supporting Arsenal?

Reports are Bordeaux are wanting Sylvester as part of the deal for Chaka Demus, I'd be happy to let him go and keep Swiss Tony

To be honest mate I don't usually visit the site, but every time someone links to it, the story turns out to be total **** (no different to most newspapers I suppose).

If Ade is stalling, it certainly won't be because he is worried how it will look in Togo, more likely he is hoping a bigger club will come in for him.

Is it just so you can sneer at a recent fan much the same way you sneer at anyone in the Man Utd thread who criticises Tevez or Ronaldo.

Goal.com: 'but according to The Guardian he is worried about how the move may be perceived in his native country. Indeed, the newspaper suggests that the medical is fact yet to take place.'

Like Tribal Goal.com's just repeating what the press have reported.

Hleb's post-Arsenal career continues to nosedive - he's quoted as saying if things do not change by December, as per Thierry's advice, then he's offski.

And now in a further display of 'don't believe **** all' Hleb's apparently off to Inter today

No. Arsenal fans aren't that fickle on the whole.

Yup, never heard the Emirates boo their own players or leave early

Maybe it's because Arsenal invented the sort of football that Bolton play..........though, obviously, the football they play nowadays is a million miles away from that, but only really a relatively recent thing.

Kicking chunks out of people for the hell of it? Jog on.

If you just mean playing defensively, I apologise. But at least we won the league playing like it!

If you look back then you'll see the original quote referred to the phrase " don't want to pay £50 for a game for arsenal just to grind out a 1 nil win in the most boring way possible (think bolton)."........which, as I stated, it something that Arsenal more or less invented, and I'd suggest likely to be why it was queried as to his age.

I don't criticise any team for the way they play, as I believe it adds to the variety and a lot of strategy to the Premier league, and teams will always play to their strengths - a team like Bolton will never beat Arsenal in a passing game, so they'd be stupid to try.

If he is going to go, I'd much prefer it to be abroad.
