Gallas is a bad one especially this close to playing the other big 3.
It's stunning really I was starting to feel pretty confident about the rest of the season, then this happens. I hope that I don't put the mockers on him, but I'm not too worried about Gibbs, I actually think he is better defensively than Clichy, but Djourou MUST fit straight in otherwise we're in trouble.
Back line as expected today, but some rotation up front.

Fabianski
Sagna Toure Djourou Gibbs
Walcott Denilson Song Arshavin
Fabregas
Bendtner

Gibbs could have seen red there. We need to make changes asap.

Why has Adebayor not started given his scoring run since being back in the squad? Did he have some kind of minor knock?

The way I see it is that if he was on the bench for a rest, then play him and get the game won, then take him off. The longer this goes on, the more confident Wigan will get

I don't think so. Perhaps just coming back from injury, 3 games in a week would be too much?

We could do with a draw tomorrow.

Wigan were the better team for an hour, it didn't look like we were even going to get a shot on target let alone 4 goals! Fingers crossed for Djourou, but it didn't look good.

Where are all the Gooners tonight? Out celebrating St Totteringham's Day I suppose.

SSN reporting that Villarreal will be without Senna on Wednesday after he picked up a knee injury. I wouldn't wish him ill, but he looked dangerous every time he picked the ball up 30+ yards out last week.

I suppose any disruption to their squad is a plus, I agree he did look very dangerous and looked like the type of guy who could cause an weak defence problem, GULP!

Looks like we are finding form at the right time this season, Cesc and Ade getting back to their best, plus theo improving and arshavin

Very close for gibbs though. Saw him in the carling cup a few times, and he is not bad....although every now and again his marker does tend to lose him.

Should finish at least 4th after todays result, and hoping for an arsenal barcelona CL final Pity that arshavin can't play in the CL for us.

TBF to Gibbs, and not that it's been widely reported, there was a definite foul on him first.

Still, after the ref makes the wrong call very very lucky to stay on.

Also looked very very bad for Djourou, noone touched him, hobbled off and was crying as he was being taken off but Wenger's talking in terms that suggest he's a short termer. Not that I mind having Silvestre in the team anywhere near as much as most Gooners who seemingly have labelled him the new Cyganator.

Arsenal top in the form table.

Villa bottom.

Just seen the result at Villa Park, couldn't really have hoped for better
Looks like I almost put the mockers on Gibbs! TBF to the ref, he had to be 100% sure if he was going to send a player off & there must have been doubt as to whether Fabianski was going to get the ball first as Valencia certainly wasn't in control of it. Hopefully Gibbbs will get back to his previous form on Wednesday.
