Yep, happy with that. I did hope that we might steal it late on, but to be fair, although we were much better in the 2nd half, I can't remember too many real attempts on goal.

Again, what a great goal by Ade (there's wasn't too bad either... I suppose).

Yeah, pleased with that result. Should get the result we need at home.

Have to say the officials did a good job tonight. Plenty of attempts to get bookings/decisions go the wrong way but I don't remember even one decision that was arguable.

ITV saying medial ligament damage for Gallas!
Two weeks (yeah right) for Almunia.

I'd say more Rivaldo like...

Remember when he scored an unbelievable overhead kick for a hat-trick.

He used his chest to flick it up in the air and then over head kick from the edge of the area.

Type in rivaldo bicycle kick on youtube...it was against Valencia.

Apart from injuring Gallas I thought Song had a decent game The commentator tried to blame him for Senna'a goal, but it wasn't his fault for me.

Keeping my fingers crossed that Gallas' injury isn't as bad as we first thought. Guess we'll hear in the next day or two.

I remember that one well, it was his last game for Barcelona on the last day of the season and it secured a CL placing.

LOL, yeah he had a good (great for me) game apart from crocking the club's best CB for the rest of the season

Really really good to see him progressing so well after 'that' game a few years back

So hands up who knew Ashley Young's little 12 yo brother was an Arsenal player..... An interview just popped up from the third Young brother saying Arsenal are telling the mum that he's not bad at all.

Anyone who has seen how very very rare it's been so far for a player to leave and either stay at the Arsenal level or step up deserves everything they're (not) gonna get imo. Diarra doesn't count

You constantly read about how Arsenal and Wenger are 'the perfect club for a player' and after cringing yet again at hearing it the trackrecord of those that leave is hardly stellar and kinda explains why people say it....

So Gallas is out for the season, Almunia out for 3 weeks and Clichy has a back injury!

Can't believe you got everyone back and then lose another batch to injury...

Gallas is a bad one especially this close to playing the other big 3.
