Well, we should be going into the second leg 3 up, but just glad that we didn't concede in injury time!

PSV Hlebgate all over again I thought when Vela gave away that free kick right at the end!
Still, only team to win tonight. Which can't be bad

Well happy with the result, a clean sheet, no injuries, no suspensions and a win are all that matters Not content with the performace, we should have a comfortbale cushion of 2-3 goals going into the second leg, another solid performace from Denilson (I think he may just edge Diaby to partner Cesc when he returns, hopefully we can scrape through the second leg and with Cesc and Rosicky back for the QF (as they both started back training this week) we should start coverting these chances we are getting, something needs to be done as we can't have Song and Clichy wasting chances with soft shots like those tonight!

Really should have won that far more convincingly than we did in the end. Bendtner was largely rubbish and I still don't see the point in Song but, hey, its a win! and even I thought Eboue was doing well (apart from the obvious!)

Eboue did do well in my opinion. Certainly had the passion without the stupidity like against Spurs. He should have just run on and smashed his chance rather than try and create space as he's just not a finesse player. I'd argue that Bendtner was a better chance and a MUCH worse miss

I agree Eboob wasn't that bad, as Arsenal fans we just liked to pick one on player and be irrational about their every move

Good result but could have been great! if Bender and Comrade had put their chances away we would have been coasting it in Rome, Nasri playing the free role had a good game and comrade had his best game for us this season. I thought Le Boss should have kept Diaby on for abit longer as we seem to sit back abit once Song came on.
Hopefully EDS will be back for the second leg

Diaby is only just back from injury, I think Le Boss was worried he may get crocked, again!

Bendtner's first touch was awful last night, every time he received a pass he managed to knock it 2 feet in front of him

Even David Pleat noticed his bad first touch and it has to be extremely noticeable for him to comment on it correctly!

Finally going to see what resembles a half-decent midfield today imo - Arshavin, Denilson, Diaby, Eboue.
Wonder if Nasri will get the nod as second striker again today?
With Walcott, Edu & Ade back within two weeks things are looking a wee bit rosier I think....

Stating the obvious, but we need a win today. Plenty of goals would be really nice for a change, but a win of any sort is essential.

Fulham with a couple of really good chances and then RvP with the best of the game and, again, he ***** it early on
