Another good win. I didn't manage to catch a lot of the game, but we seemed to play well in the bits that I did. Will check out the 5-6 minutes on BBC tonight before hopefully catching the full 90 on Arsenaltv tomorrow. Any stand out players for us?

That Blackburn are a good team aren't they? Well, in the last 8 minutes at least!

My first time at the Emirates and it was a great game Cesc and Ade were impressive although I wish Ade would improve his first touch ! Even when Man City had the ball they couldn't keep it. I lost count of the number of times they kicked they ball out themselves. Walcott was in form, if his shooting was a little better he'd have got a couple.

Enjoyed it a lot

Just going to watch this on Football first...nice result, hope the performance matches.

Is it safe to start thinking about Champions League footy next year?

Maybe if Man Ure beat the Villa later on. I shall feel almost as dirty for cheering them on as I did for Tottenham a few weeks back.

Well, we've still got to play all 3 of the teams above us & whilst we are certainly capable of getting results against them, it's still a much harder run in than Villa have got.

I'm strangely confident and I don't know why. I think I'm more confident of a scoring draw rather than a win though although Villarreal have got to be beaten some time at home...

Damn. No idea why I was confident. We've had a shocking start!

Two great stops there by Fabianski, hopefully that'll calm any nerves he might have had having to come on already trailing in a big game.

Although hasn't done my nerves any good!

EDIT2: He is off now!

Sod it...Almunia and Gallas both off injured...nightmare stuff!

That didn't look good, but he's back on the pitch now. Hope they can make it to half time without conceding another while he's limping about.

Edit: Subbed for Djourou, I'm not liking the look of this.

Well the first half could have gone a lot better! 3 players booked & 2 subbed, we're not really going to be able to effect the game from the bench now. Right now I'd probably settle for a 1 goal loss, but we need an away goal.
