Int'l break's coming at the wrong time.

Had to leave for work at half time. Did I miss anything?

Hmm, difficult one. At only 6 points behind Liverpool, 2nd place isn't entirely out of the question (imo) if Villa win tomorrow - but then neither is 5th place!

Oops, didn't give a for today's result!

Capitulating

Thought it might've been at the end of their tough run (v Everton) that seriously challenging for fourth would be gone for them but by today's score they're finished already I think....

Got around to watching the 2nd half last night & it was a big improvement on the 1st, I guess the pace finally took it's toll with them picking up a couple of injuries. Three really good goals, SuperNic's great header silenced the crowd - for about 13 seconds, then RvP came good with some excellent link up play to set up both Diaby & Nasri's goals. In the end, I think we could have gone on to win by a couple more, but I'll settle for 1-3 .
Seems strange that we picked up the only yellow of the game! Ryan Taylor had a double kick at Arshavin in the 1st half & then a double wrestle with Clichy in the 2nd but nothing? Then there was Steven Taylor's deliberate forearm smash on Arshavin which (to me) looked like a straight red. Have to say, Arshavin looks like a tough little **** though

(Yes, I'm on night shift again! )

Speaking to the News of the World, the former Marseille midfielder revealed that manager Arsene Wenger’s decision to take him off in the final still hurt him and that this was the prime motivation for his decision to leave north London.

“My biggest disappointment was playing only 18 minutes in the Champions League final. Wenger killed me when he took me off,” explained Pires.

“For that reason, I could not stay at Arsenal and I moved to Villarreal.

Come on bobby it wasnt like that something to do with a yearly contract no ?

According to SSN Ade is set to play against Cameroon despite being injured for the last few weeks. ******* annoying we lose him for even longer, especially as RvP is bound to pick up an injury with Holland!

Think Ade being fit for Togo's a good thing, when we restart after the ever boring Inter-lull he'll have two more games under his belt. Guessing EdS's the same too.

The Daily Mirror have retracted that now infamous Bendtner quote today. *******, the damage is already done

'On 16 February, under the headline: 'Big 'Ead Bendtner', we quoted Nicklas Bendtner from an interview given to a Danish newspaper as saying: 'I should start every game, I should be playing every minute of every match and always be in the team.'

'Nicklas Bendtner actually said: 'I constantly belive that when I am in my best playing form then I should play from the start, whoever is ready or injured.'

'We are happy to make this clear and regret any misunderstanding.'

Went up for a header and clattered his head with someone elses. Nowt much thankfully.

Yet anyway.

I see Ade scored too.

I also see the knives are out for the next Arsenal captain. Let's hope this one dissapears and doesn't drag on. And on. And on. Until it's unbareable. Like his predecessor
