It was poorly worded, but that's not what I meant. PeterUK said it kept changing from spitting on the pitch, at Brian Horton, at his feet. I've only ever heard 'at his feet'.

I really hope it isn't true, spitting at someone is vile.
TBH I wouldn't take too much notice of what Brown says. He said that Horton & Wenger didn't have words during the game - Untrue, it was caught on camera.
He said Horton & Wenger didn't have words in the tunnel at half time - Untrue, again it was caught on camera.

I guess all the ill feeling comes from the days when Brown was fat sam's pet chimp.

if hull stay up, i imagine he will be in for a few tasty tackles next season.

although not spitting he has previous with mouthing off at the end, didnt he "take on" mark hughes when at blackburn and gave him stick about how he should be embarrased for his team being an ex barca player.

Yes, like Wenger he can be a bad loser. To be fair to him, on that ocassion he went straight into Blackburn's dressing room and apologised for his comments, after which Hughes came out and whinged to the media.

IF anything did happen yesterday, I don't believe for one minute that Horton didn't do or say anything to provoke it. Not that it would make it right (spitting is vile), but it would make Brown a liar. Again.

Apparently; although all there is is that clip above which, considering it wasn't mentioned (or seen) at the time by the ref or Ballack since, or there's no sign of Ballack wiping anything off (euuugh) then it's not conclusive imo.

Regardless, there must've been something he did yesterday but Brown's not doing himself any credibility favours by giving interviews like this:

http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport1/hi/football/7950507.stm

Where he says he didn't say things he did say, wouldn't say who else saw Cesc spit at Horton in the tunnel and says Wenger never shakes his hand; this vid is more conclusive that the one above:

Still, Cesc has been a snide runt when he was younger; not so much anymore but we'll see if any proof of spitting does come out of this....

So, anyway, FA Cup semi

Yet Brian Horton himself never saw it:

When asked if he stood by Brown’s accusations, he (Brian Horton) said: “He was there, wasn’t he, and knew what he saw.”

So he was the one who was spat at, but didn't see or feel it happening. Hmmmm.

And a couple of Hull players 'might' have seen it. Either they did or didn't. And if they did, why was it not mentioned the night before?

I don't read that as Horton not seeing it?
Either way, I don't really care what happened, was just commenting that I hadn't noticed the story changing.

So what are we thinking for the draw? I assume we want Porto or Villereal? or Bayern at a push, Semis not fussed as if we get that far there will be no thing as an easy game

Liverpool Chelsea

Can't be unhappy with Villarreal really can we? Just glad we avoided the spawniest Euro team ever.

Never played United in Europe either....
