If you're going to do a pedantic post then you really need to make sure yours is 100% before hitting submit.

He doesn't realise you're a gooner, Simon. He thinks you're one of 'them'

Superb game and Burnley deserve it but Tottenham have had some chances to kill this tie so have only themselves to blame for their position in this match.

Do away goals count double in this, or is it only after extra time. Or something.

And then they tell me on the bbc website. Extra time it is.

I can still see you winning this though.

Great game though, for the neutral anyway.

I'm not at all surprised that some utterly moronic starting choices and poor subs have lead us to this :-

Reminds me of England Vs Croatia, ie put in a goalkeeper who is almost guaranteed to look like he doesnt have a clue what to do with the ball.

Bentley should never have started let alone still be on the pitch.

As per usual I see the curse of Bale didnt take long to come into effect, he cant even test the keeper when clean through and doesnt seem at all able to track back, tackle, pass, basically utterly utterly pathetic as a footballer.

Another half hour for humiliation to sink in.

Spurs are very poor tonight but what an effort so far from Burnley. Truly great stuff to watch.

I think our only hope is that Burnley run out of steam, because as a team they are far superior to us.

We might struggle in the Championship next season.

Although we have been **** poor in creation, they havent had many, its simply that Burnley have a 'keeper, we don't.

I honestly cant fathom why Redknapp would choose to put Alnwick in, when if it went tits up his confidence would be (based on his woeful performance) rightly shot.

Isn't Gomes injured, or at least he was at the weekend as he wasn't taking goal kicks.

Gomes is indeed injured, but I suspect an injured dustbin would be having as good a game as Alnwick has had.

As was alluded to earlier, Cesar must be "mr unpopular" to not get a game ahead of this clown.

Haha, oh god. A friend of mine just bought a Spurs shirt especially for the final (I'm a United fan). I can't stop laughing at how Burnley have managed to get three goals!

Woeful stuff from Tottenham. If only I'd put a £10 bet on Burnley eh!?:P

I think blaming a young keeper is a bit simplistic.

We have been playing like this for a season and a half now.

He's about to join Valencia hence why he's nowhere to be seen.

Simplistic but factual.

Obviously hes ****/had an absolute stinker.

Having said that, I also equally blame Redknapp for leaving on a player clearly out of his depth.
