Wow, these pictures are awesome. Thanks Rich & Mullethead. Though it's a shame about the jumbotrons.

I'm really looking forward to getting to the first game tomorrow and soaking up the atmosphere. Hope it's a great day.

I need to get my membership card/ticket from Highbury box office first (open 9.30am to 4pm to mmebers in similar predicament), so i'll stroll down Avenell Road and pay the final salute to the old ground before heading to Ashburton and most likely the Armory shop to check out the goods on offer.

Can't wait!

It appears not one Gooner turned up to Cole's wedding

Only Sol and Pennant.

****

The £12m transfer limit is mis-reported

Hill Wood has hinted that Cole is on his way - can't wait to see the back of him and get that £16m into the bank.

Looking forward to seeing the game on TV today, just a shame I can't be there - lets hope it becomes easier to get tickets later in the season.

Your new staduim looks nice, seating is a bit far back though (particularly behind the goals). It will be interesting to see what your average attendance is over this season.

Would loved to have seen Van Basten's effort to slip in at the far post

Damn true that was a brillant staduim the coming season is gonna be ace !

I really enjoyed that too many cool people turned up

Was sad to see the emotion on Ian wright you know how much it pains him to not have SWP in an arsenal shirt you could tell on his bbc wc punditery how much he hates Sven . Good to see him out there

Brilliant second half - it looks like a great stadium and the atmosphere seemed much better than Highbury.

Good to see PV4 get a proper reception as well - i always felt it was sad that he never had the chance to get a send off from the fans and was then booed when he played for Juve. He looked very happy.

Never in a million years...why look back? He made his choice! (Great player though he is)

I was actually somewhat choked watching that testimonial...what a legend DB10 really is

Glad I have my Centurions DVD signed by both Le God14 and DB10

It's the end of a chapter...

A few video clips:

Van Basten Skill

This one goes a little awry after the penalty as i jumped to try and get the ball (wasn't a good idea with a torn ligament in my knee) - i think i swear at the end of it as well so be warned.
Penalty Miss
