Not quite sure but ... if you're not an ST holder and don't have any CL credits on your fancard then you don't.

I am confused ... both us and Arsenal will be in Pot 1 if we both go through, and yet Arsenal aren't one of the seeded 16 teams in the 3rd Qualifying Round. How does that work then ?? [ This is based on them being listed as the away team in the UEFA/BBC list ]

Thought that was the case.

Would it really be that hard for UEFA to draw the Seeded team first in this draw ??? I assuming that they have (or just need) two pots each with 16 teams in; 1 has the seeded teams, the other the non-seeded ones. Surely you picked a ball from the seeded pot first for each fixture

In which it is usually CL credits from the previous season that get taken into account.

They had two pots as you describe, one with seeded teams and the other with non-seeded teams...they also had a third pot which they put each ball that they had just drawn from the first two pots into. Then the first ball they drew from this third pot was the home team for the first leg

I assume they did this to make the home/away fixture order random and not automatically have the seeded team playing at home first.

But according to the rules of the competition, wherever possible the seeded team always plays at home in the 2nd leg - it's one of the 'perks' of being a seeded team.

Does that apply to this years competition? If so I don't understand what they did today, why have a 3rd bowl at all?

It's applied every year so far.

The only reason they might do it is that it not always possible for the seeded team to play at home in the 2nd leg eg ground sharing, two teams in the same city, etc ... but in most cases the seeded team gets the advantage of playing away first.

Also there seems to be a new red training shirt we've not seen before which is a great alternative to those who don't like the Home shirt...

Best thing about the first half has been the mountain landscape in the back ground.
Good effort from Nyppia tho'.
