Lots of LFC fans don't think much of koptalk.

Mainly becuase they charge for the honour of reprinting other peoples exclusives.

Plus they guy that runs/owns it also has a spurs site and a newcastle site!

Best site I've found is http://www.liverpoolway.co.uk/ its run by Dave Usher who does the fanzine and most of koptalks "exclusives" are lifted straight off of his site - give it a go!

God, it makes me sound like some sad little fan this!
Heh, I wouldn't go posting that on any LFC forum John. The 'eternal flames' part was added to the crest as a memorial to the Hillsbrough victims.

tbh john the only thing i'd buy the shirt for is our club crest. it represents the club. the shankly gates at the top, the eternal flames either side and the liver bird in the middle. all parts of what the clubs is and all deserve their place.

if you want a plan adidas shirt, why not go to JJB and buy a generic red one?

++ , Much as I love LFC theres typicaly no way I'd be seen dead in the sort of shirts that football teams wear in my mormal day to day non sports life, without the liverpool crest on it.

Why does Simao possibly joining Valencia mean Alves is going to leave Sevilla to join us ??

More likely it is now either Alves/Simao to Liverpool.

Plenty of clubs have redesigned their crests including us - is it hard to accept that sometimes, a redesigned crest can look worse than the old one?

It seems if Newc are linked with a player then a couple of hours later we will be linked with said player.

Sky are saying we have apparently offered a trial to Lazaros Christodoupoulos from PAOK. My Greek work colleague reckons he is really good.

Also £5m for Duff that is one good deal Newcastle got themselves.

Agreed. Decent winger, 2 footed, decent price...

If it is true that yet again we tried a last-minute snatch which didn't come off that someone in the transfers dept needs a smack round the head!
Worried we are heading towards "well nab 'em before the window closes" sceanrio for the 3rd window in succession...

last summer it was the other way round

I certainly wouldn't complain if Klose wore the Liverpool red next season

The greek guy is worth it for the extra revenue in shirt sales - imagine how much it will cost to have his name on the back!!

Did Duff really go for £5m?? If so I suspect he didn't want to come to us as he would have ended up on the right rather than his preferred position on the left....

the same price as it costs to have Dudek, Riise or any other member of the squad. It's a fixed price for any squad name and number on the back of a shirt.

just for your information like

Liverpool Echo

Liverpool are also bemused at reports suggesting they were beaten to Damien Duff by Newcastle United.

Chelsea offered Duff to the Reds and publicly declared they had given them permission to speak to the Irish international but Liverpool never registered any interest in the player.
