I thought everyone was going to be surprised by this one, and it looks like I was right
I can't wait for next week now - it's going to seem like an eternity

P.S. might want to spoiler all the stuff from the spoiler trailer (thanks BBC ), as some might have the sense to have switched off.
Very good episode anyway. RTD's done well this time
A definite buzz when Rose wakes up on the spaceship and you can hear that classic backround noise . Would have been even better if the Beeb hadn't spoilered it so much

Yep, fingers crossed that nobody spoils it any more on this thread though...

I get the impression they were taking the humans "killed" and using them for something nefarious. My own guess is:
I absolutely loved it - this is the first RTD episode that I have found better than any other episodes (I have found his to be significantly weaker than all the others). Next week looks great too. I will have to see both together to be sure, but I think the story could become my favourite ever.

PS
No other programe could pull of a Big Brother, Weakest Link & that makeover show and get away with it.
I would rate this as the best DrWho ive ever seen and the best season ever.

Surprisingly brilliant episode. Only thing that didn't work for me was the score. It felt out of place on alot of occasions.
Just a shame that they spoiled it last week.

This episode seemed like it was going to be an abomination yet they managed to make this work. One of the most surprising episodes so far. Good fun.

Does anyone know if this is being shown in the USA yet ?
Knowing that Christopher E is leaving adds so much to it in my opinion
His replacement has got a hard act to follow imo

Great episode, so much better than expected, but would have been even better if they hadn't spoiled the return of the Daleks last week.
Let's hope next week's episode provides an enjoyable end to a very solid series.

well i think its already been said
but fair play bbc, apart from the stoopid spoiler trailer last week, TOP EPISODE, actually think the "Bad Wolf" theme through the series was a great idea
looking forward to next week

Great episode. For someone who could at best take or leave the original series i'm gonna be missing this when its off air. Superb, fun, action show. Its what sci-fi and british TV has been lacking in recent years.

I wasn't all that impressed, to be honest. Just seemed like a rather weak way to throw a few current references and guest stars into Who.
Some stuff I'd heard about the series before the series began (might still be something in this, so I've spoilered it just in case):
BTW - did anyone else hear the interview with Ecclestone on the Eamonn Holmes R5 show this morning? When asked about his thoughts on Who, he said that he had very mixed feelings (and sounded a little put out). Shame really, I think he's turned out to be a great Doctor.
