In addition to the terms and conditions the following are prohibited:

Requesting or providing information about websites which either show live football streams for any league around the world or contain information on how to view these games

Discussing how to view Saturday afternoon (or similar) live Premiership matches being shown on foreign satellite channels.

Requesting or assisting in providing copies of taped TV shows.

The selling or trading of football tickets.

The posting of sporting related videos and clips that are most likely to be copyrighted by the respective broadcaster. Linking to sites that contain these clips is also prohibited.

There are to be no discussions about any sportsman or woman's private lives.

Please do not post anything relating to anyone potentially taking illegal substances. This also includes any discussions guessing the person or person names. Anyone who ignores this will in the first instance receive a warning and a repeat offence will see the member banned from at least the Sports Forum.

Images that are clearly copyrighted by Getty are not to be posted anywhere on the forums

Any such post will be considered against the terms and conditions and could
result in a warning being recorded against your account. Repeat offenders
will either be banned from the site or will have their access to the Sport Forum removed.

In addition the following is not longer permitted on the forums:

Please don't copy entire article from other sites such as The Times etc, posting the first paragraph or so along with a link will be acceptable

Posting football fixtures in full on the forums, links to sites that contain these fixtures wiil be permitted.

We are no longer allowing people from posting football fixtures on the forums as these are copyrighted to the relevant league. Linking to sites that contain the fixtures will be permitted.

A reminder to those who have ignored the rules regarding posting football fixtures on the forums.

Please note that all football threads will now be limited to 1,000 post as per the rest of the forums.

Please note we are no longer allowing the posting of sporting related videos and clips that are most likely to be copyrighted by the respective broadcaster, for example Sky Sports or Setanta video clips.

Updated to include the following:

Linking to sites that contain these clips is also prohibited.

If you see any such videos or links in the sports forum please report them so we can take a look at them and remove them if needs be.
