Couple of points:
1. The Italian dialogue is not the "original". Since it was shot in English but largely post-dubbed, the English audio track syncs up better with the actors' lip movements. However, the vocal performances in the Italian track are decidedly superior.
2. The best thing about the Italian set is that it includes both the English and Italian cuts. The Italian cut is slightly under two minutes longer, including a couple of extra scenes not present in other releases, one of which is quite pivotal.
Oh, and Nick over at
Dark Dreams has a review copy. He confirms that it is uncut (unlike the previous UK release), and uses the same transfer as the English version in the Italian set. No extras though.
