Thanks for the heads up.

I managed to find the last one in Orpington branch.
It had £30 odd marked up on the box, but I asked them to check for me & it scaned in at £7.99.

Last one for me too in Swindon. All still marked up at £19.99 though! Had to take to till to confirm the REAL price.

Also annoying that they had 4 on the shelf, but only 1 left. Got caught out by this problem when Top Spin was redued for the XBox...

I picked one up and there's still at least three in Liverpool Allerton Road branch. (Non in city centre though)
Its marked 19.99 on the box, 9.99 on the shelf and 7.99 at the till.
Which is a nice surprise

This is one of the reasons I steer clear of Woolworths, especially at Xmas when people are forced to queue for ages, only to be told their item is out of stock.

You're not wrong! The other reason that I usually stay clear is that often the discs are scratched badly by the way they store the discs and the muppets behind the till!

My local Woollies entertainment counter always seemed to be staffed by rough-looking, middle-aged women, and it makes me wince when I see them handling CDs or DVDs. If they don't score them with their "Sovvy" rings, there's a good chance that they'll get them with their ridiculously long false nails!

I'll still nip round to check out this bargain tomorrow, though!

Just popped to Woolies in Penarth, and there were 2 on display, both with Tags that said £19.99, and a chart sticker underneath that said £9.99. I asked for a price check and it was £7.99!

Watched the Return of the Jedi DVD last night and it convinced me to get this! hopefully its good tho...

It isn't as good in my opinion. It has some really poor on foot sections but on the plus side you do get to play the entire previous game in two player mode. Overall it is a good purchase for the money.

It has been ages since I played it so I'm not too sure but I would say about the same.

out of interest can u play the Rogue Squadron II sections with just 1 of you. Neither of my house mates are into video games, so is it playable in some way with just 1 person playing?

To be honest I don't know. I bought the game on release but found that I simply wouldn't have the opportunity to play it properly at that time so I took it back to Game for a refund before I had chance to check that mode out.

BTW, I wasn't too impressed with the game either. I agree with JimDriver2 regarding the on-foot sections, but I also thought that the flight sections felt as if you weren't really moving but everyone else was. Did anyone else think this?
