I'd hate to be sat near the Pakistani supporters.I'd do some damage with one of those horns, how annoying are they .

161-7 now.

England win

Pakistan all out for 185 off 44 overs and England race to 189-3 off 22 overs.

Hats off to James Anderson, bouncing back with 4-27, Marcus Trescothick's 86 off 55 balls including 16 4s and 2 6s and Solanki's 40 not out

Well done lads, set up an exciting finale.

It looks like it was an impressive all round performance by the team today, to win inside 25 overs is quite an achievement. Good to see Trescothick back to form and the continuing excellent form of James Anderson.

Looking forward to Sunday already

EDIT - Just heard that James Anderson has picked up the first one-day hat-trick by an England bowler, what a find this young man is , more details here .

Having sat with Pakistani, Indian and Sri Lankan fans during 1 day games I can honestly say that they are absolutely amazing fans who really add to the day out.

I didnt join any of the congas around the boundry or anything, though

Agreed. It's not very often when a bowler is on a hat-trick that he bowls the perfect ball to complete the trio of wickets but the ball Anderson bowled yesterday was perfect.

Didn't realise that but it is good to have the old man back, he and Anderson can become a good partnership if both of them can stay injury free.

Start delayed this morning Umpire Peter Willey hopeful of an 11:30 start so it will still be a 50 over per side game.

England have won the toss and no surprise really they are bowling first.

Pakistan are currently 16-0 off 4 overs.

Looking good at the moment Pakistan 46/3 Freddy Flintoff getting a fine C & B . Whats impressing me with the new look Side is the sharpness in the field.

Flintoff is the man at the moment, they just can't score any runs of him, he has completely dragged the run rate back.

That's a bit more than they looked like they were going to get at one stage, but it should be a good match.
