Add George Stevens magnificent Shane to that list, Peckinpah's Pat Garrett & Billy the Kid, and the quite tasty High Plains Drifter.
Also fond of Henry Fonda's performance in The Return of Frank James and other faves Drums Along the Mohawk, Rio Grande, El Dorado, She Wore a Yellow Ribbon and Northwest Passage.
---
So many films, so little time...

Depends what mood I'm in...
Epic: Once Upon A Time In The West
Frivolous: The Good, The Bad & The Ugly
Sombre: The Big Silence
Male Bonding: The Wild Bunch
Nostalgic: Ride The High Country
Nihilistic: Django

Good, Bad and The Ugly
Outlaw Josey Wales
Unforgiven
Pale Rider
High Plains Drifter
Fistfull of Dollars
Two Mules for Sister Sarah
Hang Em High
Joe Kidd
Love all Clints Westerns, also Young Guns I/II are probably my favourite non-clint Westerns!
So watch all Clints westerns and both Young Guns!

I'd go for Once upon a time in the West - a HUGE film in every sense.
I also love High Plains Drifter - a western with a real edge, and another of Eastwoods morally dubious characters -

in complete agreement although John Ford's silent The Iron Horse is the original classic western. Lots of scenes are remarkably similar here. there is a 40 year gap as well.
cheers

I'd have to go for Once Upon A Time In The West and The Wild Bunch. Both look amazing on the big screen.

As well as the Leone westerns, I love The Big Gundown (La Resa dei Conti) by Sergio Sollima, starring Lee Van Cleef and Thomas Milian and with a great Morricone score. I have only ever seen this in its trunacted UK release back in the 70's but would love to see the full length version if it ever becomes available on DVD.
