Watched “I cared a lot”

Overall ? Awful
First half had so much potential for a con movie. Second half just was a waste of time. Beyond implausible with an ending that I felt ruined the film

Shame as you to a point I was really enjoying but it just let itself down

Well Netflix is costing me Ł60 a year, through Sky and even if I was paying Ł167, it would still represent more value to me than the BBC.

I’ll watch a lot more hours of Netflix over the coming year than I will BBC.

I watched I care a lot too, far, far from awful.

Great opening, transitions into a different kind of movie in the second half. The only thing I am a bit uncertain of is the last 20 minutes can't decide if it's awful, that I got cheated, that it is genius or just so true to reality (kind of) that it's was hard to take in.

Would absolutely recommend.

I watched red dot (dubbed as I am a heathen) and quite enjoyed it. I am always happy at a 90 min movie!!

2 young lovers go camping under northern lights and get targeted by soneone.

Don't know if The Dawn Wall has been mentioned on here, but watched it over the weekend on Netflix and it's bloody amazing. I'm not good with heights so a lot of it was watched with gritted teeth!
It's about a couple of free climbers ascending The Dawn Wall up El Capitan in Yosemite, a route that's never been managed, and it's crazy.
I would highly recommend.

Followed that with Free Solo on Disney Plus, which is about a free solo climber going up a different route on the same mountain. Free solo means no ropes...his attempt is just with a small bag of chalk to help him. If I thought The Dawn Wall was a tense watch, I was barely able to look over my hands for this. Compelling and again, brilliant.

They make an incredible pair of movies, but I would definitely recommend watching The Dawn Wall first!

Agreed - and a good order to watch them in too

I wasn’t able to breathe through most of the end of Free Solo.

Highly recommend rounding out the trilogy with the documentary Last Breath on Netflix. Rather than going up, it goes down, way down. Enjoy.

Yeah, thoroughly enjoyed The Dawn Wall when we saw it a year or so ago, and had wanted to watch Free Solo. Forgot it was on Disney.

Disney Star no live. Doesn't seem like a lot of 4k but quite a lot of HDR HD stuff.

Thanks for these recommendations. We’ve watched both over last 2 nights, they’re phenomenal, mind blowing films.

There's a Joe Rogan interview with Alex Honnold over on spotify that's worth a watch as well, he's an interesting cat for sure and I think it touches on The Dawn Wall IIRC.

The Dawn Wall is amazing - if only for the whole section about Pitch 15

So, what are we all expecting from Coming To America 2 next week ?

Based on the trailer, I think it's a good job I already pay for Prime

I’m really looking forward to it! I loved the 1st one as I was a teenager when it came out and was a big fan of Eddie Murphy!
The trailer looks like more of the same so that will suit me fine!

Cautiously optimistic, Dolomite is my Name was very good so there is a slim chance C2A2 could be okayish.
