I think it’s best at 2. Still v good at 4, as the murderer gets additional info from the discussion between the others which all adds to the tension.
3 creates a bit of an imbalance as there are 3 police to share between 2 players.

I find scotland yard too simple/bland. I much prefer the Fury of Dracula/Star Wars Rebellion versions of that mechanic, both games I love, very thematic.
I've also got the sequel to Cluedo, the great museum caper which is also the same mechanic but plays in about 10 minutes.

I might be tempted to pick it up at some point although Mrs Bish isn't fan of hidden movement games.

Yep - I smashed through four scenarios of JOTL with a mate last night. Absolutely fantastic.
Hooked up two iPads with Gloomhaven Helper on to run the monster decks. Perfect.

Not a board game, but may as well be, I played Among Us with some colleagues last night. Really fun Coup/Warewolf type game on Android/iOS/PC
