We did this in the kitchen but just went for the basic 5w USB-A ones which were cheap and cheerful. They get used for the family iPads, occasionally my wife’s phone etc, but I made a conscious decision not to go down the (expensive) rabbit hole of everything else you’ve mentioned there.
Wireless charging is become more prevalent and we have a couple of those on desks, by the bed, cables in the car etc.
I guess if you could find USB-C ones, that would probably future proof things a bit, but I suspect you’ll be able to get usb-a versions of cables for the foreseeable future.
