WTF is 'The Girl Trilogy'?

Thought this was known as the Millennium Trilogy?

Dragon Tattoo was shot in 3-per Super 35, so a 1.78:1 version will more likely be opened up rather than cropped. There's no doubt that it was intended to be shown in cinemas at 2.40:1 though.

...Played With Fire and ...Hornet's Next were shot in HD if I remember rightly - the former certainly looked like it was. (Still haven't seen Hornet's Nest.) ETA: Though IMDB says 35mm.

Are there any screen grabs anywhere comparing the theatrical vs extended ratios on Dragon Tat? Was it cropped or opened out for 1.78:1?
