So would I Kronik, although I was a bit down heartead to hear that Wenger said that the wage demands of the Italians would stop him plundering Juve et al, which means no Buffon

The Italian punishments may yet be overturned/reduced.

And I imagine a few players will go on loan for a season or two, perhaps to Serie A clubs, until everything gets sorted.

In todays observer wenger thinks cole would stay but reading in saturdays sun cole is well cheesed of with the arsenal board and all wil be revealed in his forthcomming book reading in between the lines i think the situation is unattainable and ashley is on his way shame its might end that way I just hope he does'nt go to chelsea that would just add insult to injury arsene if you read this forum get a centre back we need cover rumour has it that we are interested in the young lad from west brom.

Wenger says he likes him, but at around £10 million, he is too expensive, also not after saviola,

Strong links now with the Buffon transfer with Juventus still owing us about £7million and player is interested in moving to London.

Looks like no new strikers though.

Saviola - Couldn't care less.

Davies - Would like to see him sign, he is a good shout but he has the disadvantage of having the "30% English" Premium on his price Tag.

Buffon - Would give away my left nut for him to sign.

Strikers - We don't need anymore, we need a CB and maybe a LB depending on Ashley staying or not.

And to think we sold him less than a year ago for £3m . Just hope we have some sort of sell-on clause in place!

Let him rot in the reserves if no one wants him for a decent price

For all of you (like me) who missed out on tickets to DB10s Testimonial Five are showing it from 16:40. The only draw back is the highly annoying Colin Murray is hosting it

Watching him do the NFL show on 5 is like watching a train wreck. Would hate to see what he is like with football shows.

I will be prolonging that date, seeing as I am off to the game

Ohmigod, ohmigod, drooooooooool

So, just heard Fat Sam trying to justify his buying of foreigners cos the English market's too expensive. What an opportunistic knob, wasn't what he was saying a few months back
