New US TV Shows 2019

Young Rock is a weird one. For a supposed comedy, the only laughs are in the wraparound 'future' scenes. Everything else is more like a drama. I like The Rock as an actor & personality, but I have zero interest in wrestling & find most of his family in the show intensely irritating. Gave it three episodes. Not for me.

Quite enjoying Debris but my word it is Fringe at the moment which makes me want those characters back.

Really loving Alien Resident, Alan Tudyk really acts like he might be from another planet.

But the Sheriff brings the laughs. And there seem to be multiple story lines that seen to be running concurrently in the background that make me want to watch the next episode ASAP.

It's lightweight stuff but it's very enjoyable lightweight stuff.

It was a bit patchy at the start but quickly became a joy and must watch show. Love how much he hates/likes the kid, but all the characters are good fun.

Same here. Not keen on the actor who plays Layton though, his eyes have a vacant expression.

Just finished Snowpiercer yesterday.

Can't fathom why no one had killed the bad man ages ago as it would be so simple to do.......... however

Was it just me or did the very end section seem weird?
I won't give anything away, but we had that "explosion/breakage" part of the show, then it was like someone decided to change, and there was a jarring flip to create a very fast paced ending which felt like it was shot in a totally different way tacked onto the end.

If I did not know any better it was almost like someone changed their mind, and something different was shot and quickly stuck onto the end.

Solar Opposites season 2, more of the same from Justin Roiland slowly building up towards episode 7 which appears will now become the regular “The Wall” episode after last seasons war, again this is another epic but any details about it would be a spoiler.

I’ve seen season one has now appeared in the Star area of Disney+, highly recommended.
