From what can see on the IMDB, the following have US DVD releases: (although Amazon reports both as being out of stock)

My Name Is Nobody
A Professional Gun (The Mercenary)

These have US VHS releases:

A Fistful of Dynamite (Duck You Sucker - US title)
The Hellbenders

And Five Man Army has neither.

Needless to say, none have any form of UK release.

These are all possibly available from Italian DVD sites but will probably be in Italian only.

Unfortunately, the picture quality (like They Call Me Trinity and Trinity is Still my Name!) does not look too clever

Comparison

Oh bugger

Though I cant grumble for about £3.50. It is also worth noting DVDoo sell a anamorphic version of A Fistful Of Dollars.

If you like My Name Is Nobody, avoid like the plague 'Nobody is Still My Name'. I picked this up on VHS at a car boot sale about 10 years ago. It's absolutely nothing to do with the first film and is bloody dreadful.

One Italian western I would like to see on DVD is Aces High (not the WWI flying movie!!). It stars Eli Wallach and IIRC, he plays his Tuco character in it. It's a pretty good comedy/straight western - nothing too serious but a good laugh.

Just found this on eBay....

http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.d...category=20047

This is for a long deleted book (which I have a copy of) called "Italian Western The Opera of Violence". It is one of the finest and most readable books on Italian Westerns there is and I treasure it. Have had it for years and read it so many times. Do yourself a favour and grab it if you can. Indispensible and the start price is only £4.99.

Mods, apologies if this contravenes any rules but this book has been long deleted so I thought I had to let the guys here know that a copy was available.

I assume you already got this book (£3.99 - excellent value for money).

Is 'Nobody's the greatest' any good?

Great fan of 'My name is Nobody' so thanks for pointing out it is on play.

Sorry guys, I got "My Name is Still Nobody" confused with "My Name is Still Trinity"! The supposed sequel to My Name Is Nobody is, as Goragio has mentioned, "Nobody's The Greatest" and unfortunately it really is pants although the one and only reviewer on IMDB seems to love it. Each to their own I guess.

I haven't Garry but thanks for the heads up. Amazon are doing a double bill of it and 'Sergio Leone' by Micheal Carlson for £7.98 - bought and paid for.

Fistful of Dynamite was released on LD by MGM, in 2 versions.

The standard rated release (PG), and an unrated version that restored 20 minutes to the film.
The later has never been released in the UK.
Hopefully they will release it on DVD one day, and I can upgrade from laserdisc.
