Great news. It's been heavily rumoured for a few weeks now, but glad to see it officially confirmed.
I thought after announcing Director's Cut that Tori Amos stole her thunder with an announcement of a September 2011 album (with another due early next year). Kate's just stolen it back.

Thunder ? Has there been a storm in your teacup ?
Directors Cut has managed a silver disc for sales in this country and shot down at speed after the first week.
Too little too late.

I really need to invest time in her other albums...I love the singles, but the albums just don't click with me (as yet). I will still be buying the new album!

Quite like the new single, but i'd imagine it will work better in the context of the album!

I've only listened to this once so far but I found it to be a bit tedious. I'm not giving up yet but I hope its a grower.

Yeah first time I listened I was like "god this could send me to sleep" (not in a bad way - more in a, this is very relaxing and you can drift off very easily to it and not realising you're listening to anything special).
Recommend concentrated listening (urg I sometimes hate albums like that) - but very much worth it if you can give it the time and effort - far better than I expected - weird having Stephen Fry on the album though, Elton John does work though, and Wild Man has the weirdest lyrics ever..
Also Kate Bush gave an interview on Radio 4!

It's certainly not up to the second CD of Aerial for me... still going to give it a good few spins.

Yawn.....
Hoping that it clicks with me soon...three listens in and I am struggling with it. A few decent tracks, but it is all a bit meandering!

Listened to it a few times. It’s nice enough background music, but there’s little on it to really grab you as some of Aerial did.
I quite like the first track, and there are some nice little hooks in Misty. The single ‘Wild Man’ is very good but just seems to be the most (only?) track that’s got some punch about it – the others are just a little too ponderous – smug, maybe.
Shame, as I really like Kate Bush.

Rumours seem to be getting stronger. A new version of Running Up That Hill is up on iTunes with a new recorded vocal from her.
Personally I think it will just be something on tape from her, but if she is there in person singing live I might just wet my pants....
