If Leicester don't win it I hope Spurs do. It would be lovely for a proper football team to win.

Yeah, that'd be good to see.

Those two look the most likely tbh, I can't see Arsenal mounting a bid and they'll lose to Spurs on the 5th I reckon.

Woo! A lifetime of expecting to grab defeat from the jaws of victory no more!
The OED entry for 'Spursy' is being rewritten now!

Net spend is around the lowest of all premiership clubs that have been in the league over the last 5-10 years, not the highest. In the four windows since Poch has been at the helm, we've actually made a profit on transfers of our around Ł15m.
Great result. I felt probably more confident of a result away to a title challenger as I've ever been in the last 25 years of supporting Spurs, that said I still half expected us to lose. As for the title, i'm not quite that confident yet. In our favour however I reckon we're the only team to have not yet been outplayed in a single Premiership game this season - sure we've been second best in periods of a few matches but if we had come away with 3 draws in our 3 defeats (Utd, Newcastle & Leicester) I don't think many would have argued against it being a fair result. Plus our form is great. In the last 10 PL matches Arsenal and Leicester have picked up 18 pts out of 30, City 15 out of 30 but we've picked up 25. Still, it might take another 7 points out of our next 3 matches (Swansea H, West Ham A, Arsenal H) Before I let myself start to believe.

A sniff yes. Though you have a much tougher run in than Leicester.

Well in the next two games, Leicester have Watford and West Brom, Spurs have West Ham and Arsenal, without making any wild predictions that might get constantly repeated, I'd guess Spurs are far less likely to pick up maximum points.

No Spurs fan with any appreciation of history is going to be suggesting that we are title contenders.

It will be the home defeats to Newcastle and Leicester that will cost us in the end I think, Tough tough game away to West Ham next week then the Arsenal game will take care of itself

Was frustrated with our passing first half. Too slow in build up then bad final pass. But fair play we stuck at it and got there in the end.
We do have much tougher fixtures than Leicester and the Europa too but at least we can dream. We have shown we can match any team but are likely to slip up in any game.
Every time you think Leicester will drop points they snatch a last gasp winner. To win titles you need a bit of luck and I think as much as I want us to win it I wont begrudge them being title winners because they have been awesome this year and a breath of fresh air. So long we make the CL.

I'd have thought a solid CL spot for Spurs has got to be seen as a good achievement for them, it'd be a shame for them to come up short and think of the season as a waste.

We've done well in those big games so if we do similarly in the upcoming games, I'm not unhappy that we have the likes of West Ham and Arsenal to come.
If anything, we're still a bit 'Spursy' against the weaker opposition, eg: Newcastle.
It's been a wonderful season no matter what happens from here.

confused.
The other teams in the PL are not 'proper' football teams?

He means not a toy-town, make-believe former football-club like Chelsea or Man City

Before this round of midweek matches, I genuinely believed we'd get a draw (which I would have been happy with) but that Arsenal, Leicester & City would all win & gain 2 points over us, so it could have been worse. West Ham away, was a much tougher fixture than the games they had. I'll be content with sitting in second place right until the final week of the season, if it's in our hands come the Newcastle game.
We just need to re-group & re-focus for Saturday's game. It looks likely they'll be missing Cech & possibly Koscielny too. Should we win too, that will mean 4 consecutive competitive defeats for Arsenal as well.

We weren't very good last night but I'll take 4-2 on aggregate over both games this season!

West Ham are a decent side this season and, adding on the Derby factor, that result should surprise nobody. Massive game just becomes even more pressurised on the weekend.
