The VW ads on the ITV World Cup coverage are shockingly unfunny.

On too often seem to have taken the place of the PPI and go and have an accident then get some money ads.

Can anyone tell me why they are using 30 year old TV characters for it? (Wizard of OZ obviously being even older).
Very very odd.

That Vauxhall advert in the dealership with the women listening to the music in the car.
No problem with the actual advert but what in gods name are they listening to? It sounds like an argument in a kitchen between pots and pans.

The begging adverts are on far too often; given that enormous overseas aid budget we are committed to I'm sure a few quid could be sent to get water/meds/food to Africa rather than paying for girl bands and the like.
Donkeys
Snow Leopards
Endangered animals
Mistreated animals
RSPCA
All ask for the £2 or £3 pound continuous donation and I'm certain they'll have people on the phone calling you to get more once you sign up. And if that's not enough they have the gall to ask you to leave something in your will as well. The next advert is usually an over 50 life plan "you know just in case"...
There must be about 15-20 begging adverts on the go at the moment.
End of rant

I wonder if only Dan Aykroyd gets the royalties from this? These adds are just poor no effort at all, get an old move and blue screen some creepy prick into it yeah well done and how innovative.
Still I'm hoping for the one based on Battle Royal comes out soon
Side note I see the begging adverts are now asking for £5 a month

You're all talking about the Halifax ads, clearly creating the buzz they want.
