Did you notice the last couple of weeks they've been showing the "A, B, C," McD's ad where B stands for BEEF, I wonder why they showed that one in particular?

This new Andrex campaign, look we all know what's toilet paper is for and we don't mind you advertising it but please the new level of ... usage detail is getting quite disturbing. Stick with the puppys and leave it that.

Yeah there is that one and now the "Do you fold or scrunch? Tell us..." ad. No, I won't, and nor should anyone else.

Any of those mobile betting adverts especially the shouty Ladbrokes' ones, guaranteed to make me never even consider placing a bet with them.

It seems every other advert after 9 pm now is for some form of betting, gambling, lottery, bingo or casino online which is no doubt being funded by every other advert before 9 pm which are for payday loan sharks.
I reckon there is a very serious and very large gambling addiction timebomb ticking away in surburbia and at some point (no doubt after a revealing investigation on Channel 4 one day) it is going to go bang very loudly indeed.

Those Linda McCartney ones are doing my head in. Not cos it's a bad advert, but it seems to be on every 5 minutes!

A few years ago there used to be some clever and interesting commercials on TV. Whilst I'm sure there are still some, most these days most seem to be shouty and brash - repeat the name of the company loudly and as many times as you can - guess that's advertising!

Can't agree more, far too shouty and far too frequent, long gone are the days when it was the Scott brothers and Alan Parker directing the adverts. Never thought I'd be nostalgic for those Hovis, Cinzano and baked bean adverts, but I am.
