Might as well post in here instead of a new topic. Jungle Book blu ray. Has it been and gone or is it coming?

Next year probably but they have released so many titles relatively quietly this year, that it could happen nearer Christmas.

Not strictly DMR related, but anyone who uses the Sony MyMoviextras equivalent might want to check their emails as it seems practically everyone who went into their recent competition for a home entertainment system seems to have won a TV (me included!).

me neither. I'm guessing the "practically everyone" is just those who actually have won and have bothered to reply on t'net
Point of interest though is that the MyMovieExtras scheme closes this weekend. So get any of the points you have knocking round redeemed quick. The redemption prizes are apparently pretty good considering a DVD/Blu garnered you 100 points and a 3D Blu 150:
1 to 199 Points - Choose a movie from a selection of DVD, Blu-Ray, or 3D Blu-ray
200 to 399 Points - Choose one of the following gift boxes:
The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo Book & DVD or Blu-Ray
The Vow Soundtrack & DVD or Blu-Ray
Moneyball Book & DVD or Blu-Ray
400+ Points - 2 x Cinema tickets PLUS Choose a movie from a selection of DVD, Blu-Ray or 3D Blu-ray
I've got 1000 points and I'd prefer one of the gift boxes and a choice, rather than the free cinema tickets! Ah well - we'll see what they say on Monday!

Ah, sorry! Seemingly nearly everyone who posts in the Moviextras thread at AVForums seems to have won, hardly anyone can have gone in for it!

Got 150 points for Tron Legacy here. I can't redeem it because I've already done so once already. Anyone got a code they wanna swap? Is that how it usually works around here?

Well sort of
Throw it is this way and I shall furnish you with something of the same value that you haven't got! Send me a PM and include the titles you've already redeemed

Website says they've pushed the closing date to this Thursday - hopefully that's the last moving of the goal-posts, but considering they didn't have any rewards on their rewards website for nearly two years - we shall see

From the amount of people scrabbling to register points now, they might be rethinking their original plan of one redemption (100 points) = a free bluray. It's stupidly generous!

They've pushed it back again, so we now get e-mailed on the 16th. I'll be amazed if we can really get a Blu-ray with just 100 points but that's what they appear to be stating .

I hope not, I've just registered 400 points by having a quick scan through my collection. I would've had more, but I never bothered to register for this scheme (thought it was just a marketing wheeze) and I've binned a few codes over the last couple of years.

Is that a code from the back of the DVD, of inside if you purchase said DVD?
