at least Cena addressed the stupidity of Big Show's antics much like we did yesterday. I thought they would just gloss over the fact that Big Show would be rehired by the next GM if Laurenitis was fired but credit to them, they had Cena beg the question.

The main event was terrible and reminded me of the Bret Hart/Vince fight a few years ago. Everyone wanted to see it, but everyone didn't want it dragged out over 20 minutes to boredom. At least Cena's comedy bits kept it going I suppose.
Cena and Big Show now. Urgh. Show is super dull but at least he had his super smiley personality going for him which made you feel like he really wants to be there.

So, I'm watching Raw... Johnny Ace just stated that he re-hired Big Show on Saturday.
Doesn't that make him a WWE employee prior to Over The Limit?

Yeah they arsed it up in the script apparently and no-one noticed until afterwards, seems like Cole covered it up later on but by then it just made Raw look an even bigger gong show than it already is. Only highlights were anything involving Punk (AJ is adorable and really does play the part well of being a looney) and....I don't know....Kelly Kelly's watershed threatening tiny pants?

Awesome. Jerry Lawler just said double axe handle. I'm not heard anyone say that in ages.

i think it's only very recently with The Miz using it a lot, that the double axe handle became anything more than a cheap excuse for a counter from the top rope!

that's a bit of an over-the-top reaction. He's a heel so it's his job to get heel heat off the fans by doing stuff like that, i doubt Jericho knew it was a crime.
Didn't Finlay get fired for something similar involving The Miz and the US National Anthem?

some TNA news for ya - Ric Flair and Alex Shelley have both quit TNA, and Matt Morgan's contract his run its course. Rumours are that WWE might take all of them. Flair on a Legends contract, Shelley for a new Cruiserweight division tv show on the new WWE channel, and Morgan, apparently Vince has been impressed by how he's developed since leaving WWE.
Flair's leaving is quite funny. Apparently he's been a royal pain in the arse, no-showing loads of events and running up massive bar tabs and refusing to pay them off, but the last straw was when in a new segment called "Gut Check" where indie wrestlers try out for a TNA contract, Flair, acting as a judge, went off-script and hired the wrong guy, so now TNA have to stick to it to keep up appearances and it's causing them all sorts of problems cos the guy needs a visa and doesn't meet the requirements.

Hahaha. You think he did it on purpose, or am I just stating the obvious?

Yeah it must have been on purpose, but if you look at the video, it doesn't look like anything unscripted happens
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8SRIB0xfD8k
but apparently Flair wasn't meant to change his vote at the end. The thing i don't understand is, why, if they knew he wasn't meant to earn a contract, did Bruce Pritchard then vote Yes himself? TNA is run and staffed by idiots.

Are you saying that this is all a cover-up and that it was just an excuse to get him off TV so he can go tour with Fozzy??
What a crazy and silly idea!!!!!
I agree....

Well, I think it was a legit incident, but as he was going away for a few weeks anyway, they're just using it to avoid a bit of bad PR.
The WWE don't really care about reaction outside of the US. When JBL did Nazi salutes and was goosestepping around a German ring in 2004, they didn't suspend him.
