Damn, only just noticed there's a new thread!
Did anyone else notice the irony of these Damien Sandow promos where he's basically slagging off social media like twitter, all the while with an @damiensandow twitter username at the bottom of the screen?

Every time they do a gimmicky live 'special', I always end up saying "I'll give it a watch, could be worth it", and I never learn
Apart from Piper's Pit, which was excellent I thought, everything was atrocious and the crowd seemed bored rigid, even with Mick Foley.
And way to make Sheamus look weak, by having Johnny Ace demanding further apologies, and saddling him with the old timers at the end.
Still looking forward to my first live Raw experience this Monday, apparently they teased a Lesnar appearance on Smackdown, but I was fast forwarding a lot by that point.

i was hoping with "blast from the past" they'd have old smackdown superstars and maybe even the old "fist" stage but yet again they roll out the same bunch of sad "legends" who can't say goodbye to the spotlight. I feel sorry for the guys like Hunico having to job to a 70 year old who wasn't even any good the first time around.

Piper's Pit was pretty good but the rest was ******* dire. The Orton/Kane feud is just pointless and the whole thing was just a crappy advert for the new show (which I have no interest in seeing). Did enjoy the cringeworthy old "Dashing" Cody Rhodes promo being shown, hoping they give him a push towards the world title pretty soon. On a similar note I wonder if they'll put Ziggler back on his own again, I don't mind Swagger but he had one of the fastest pushes and sudden falls that I can remember in recent years.

Never clicked with Swagger. Just seemed like a bizarre Jericho and Kurt Angle combination, but nowhere near as good.

i'm fed up with them pushing people to main event status too soon then ditching them afterwards, and then not pushing people who clearly deserve it.
Swagger was World Heavyweight champion, and although he had an annoying gimmick, he did at least look the part, but now he's a midcard jobber, whereas Dolph hasn't even been given that main event push apart from the odd occasion where he hangs with the main eventers for a couple of weeks.
I do think Dolph's gone a bit too far with his gimmick though. When he was doing the odd bit of showing off it was fine but now it's just ridiculous and he comes out to the ring looking like a ****.

They need to split Swagger and Ziggler, but ideally not in a way that they get stuck in a pointless feud with each other....I can just see a horrible long running battle where the eventual final match dictates who gets stuck with Vicki. I'm also getting frustrated with the direction of Sheamus, I think he worked much better as a heel character than a face, plus his win at WM was just stupid. A World title match as a squash match?

Had a great time at the Raw taping last night. Crowd were pretty loud from the start, hope it comes off that way on TV.

Watched the punk fight this morning before work it seemed like a good crowd. I still prefer the crowd in Manchester of all the places I have watched WWE live, I had the most fun in Manchester the crowd there are great

I just watched it, and it's pretty accurate sounding
Lawler's comment had me laughing "Chelsea? Doesn't he know he's in London?"

I've not watched any of his matches in Japan over the last few years, but apparently he's a top worker now (not that he'll be allowed to show it in WWE).

Average and overly long RAW this week, Brock is dreadful on the mic! Still a beast mind. The CM Punk segment was funny, ableit a bit predictable - did smile at the WWF reference which was missed by the bleeper guy.

And he did still get his "S"s and "T"s mixed up whilst doing the alphabet backwards 'properly' too. I don't like Lesnar. Nothing perosnal, I have never seen him or his stuff - stopped watching for quite a while - but I just don't like how he has been introduced...as a filler heel for Cena to feud with until Dwayne is prepared to grace us with his presence once again.
