Star Wars: The Clone Wars - spoilers
1st proper piece of artwork for the new show (I'm sure it'll turn up in better detail later). I actually don't think it's too bad, but judging by the comments on AICN you'd think thet George had once again popped round to rape all their childhoods...

Link has gone (by the Star Wars Police maybe )
Any news on when this show airs in UK (& US)?
My son is just busting for it!

How weird - normally they just remove the picture and leave the story up...
Oh well - here it is...

Looks cool, Yoda looks a little weird in that pick though!
Can't wait for the series!

Yeah, Yoda is a bit on the odd side in that picture. Starting to get excited though!

I thought it was going to be made by the same people who did the previous animated show?
I thought that was great, yet far too short.

I think they've kept the basic look from the previous series - but it's all done in-house at Lucasfilm. Cutiosly optimistic about this - and would be great if it was in for the 07/08 season.

Here's the trailer for the show...

I do wonder what the point of this is because the cartoons were pretty damn good in thier own right.

I thought the TV show that eventually came along was going to be set between Eps III and IV. Looks like this is just going over again what was covered in the cartoons, between II and III, which as you said Mr Majestik were good enough in their own right.

The live action TV show is the one that follows on from III.

Impressive, most etc...
I just hope I can regain some Star Wars love. I never really warmed to the Clone Wars and stuff. They could have made this series set between Star Wars and Empire.
Yeah, some people are never happy...

Can anyone tell me how these differ from the previously animated ones?! (other than the 3d animation...)

Think there being dragged out to hour episodes with more talky bits rather than the 5 minute near silent toons.

Looks quite good, but I'm not keen on some of the stylisation of people etc. Why couldn't they go for a bit more realism?
