Good first 5 followed by a terrible 25, felt we were a little unlucky for the goal simply in the fact that the defence seemed put off by Smalling's injury.
Last 15 we absolutely dominated, they are saying Rooney missed a sitter but I'm sure the defender got a nick. Nani is ripping them apart too, very impressed with him.
Young is disappointing again, no use just floating into the box with our front line, you have to be whipping it across the six yard box. Park is finding life tough too, personally I'd have Welbeck on in his place at HT and drop Rooney back behind him.
Nervous next 45...

...like Roy Keane's just said, we'll find out how good this side is now!
...has their goalie had to make a decent save yet?

In a way I'm kind of hoping we get dumped out and a big deal is made out of it. Besides the defence, most of this team is ***** - the midfield needs improving no end.
Hopefully a kick up the arse will spur Fergie into improving with the high quality players; and at least we would be able to concentrate on the league.

Are some people forgetting that we can't actually afford to go out of Europe...
...hence why we haven't got a CM star playing in our midfield.
Get through this game, but the CL to bed and concentrate on the league till February. Can't see why any fan would wish us out of this competition.

Well if we are not profitable, perhaps the yanks will **** off. I personally don't want to see us trying to buy bargains and finding that "there is no value in the market" whilst we wallow in mediocrity for years to come. Rather have the pain of being completely ***** now, the yanks buggering off and then making our way back to being the best.

I'm pretty sure United in the Uefa cup and City in the Champs League would be horrific for any Man U fan...

Anything City 'achieve' can easily be compartmentalized to be honest.
Just as likely to go 2 down as score at the moment.

Nothing is going in Basel's net tonight - even their own players can't do it.
Need to see Welbeck soon.

Lyon overcoming a -5 GD to go through at the moment - pretty impressive.
And 2 for Napoli.
