Sadly the show seems done for, which is a crime. There is hope that the same people who picked up Cougar Town will also pick up Happy Endings (While ABC broadcast the show they don't actually make it, which means they can move elsewhere with it).

And when the fan is switched on it looks like it's scanning for life-forms like R2-D2 does on the ice world of Hoth when Luke Skywalker goes missing. Quality in moton. The other day it disappeared. I said, "where's the bag-l gone? have the jawas come to pick it up in the sandcrawler?" to which one of the girls in the office replied, "No, Les the porter!" —Captainchode

IMO NBC should try and pick it up, as while the ratings aren't great by ABC standards they'd be decent for NBC. Particularly in the 18-34 demographic it's been handily beating all the comedies NBC has been throwing against it (The New Normal and Go On).
At the moment it's looking like the only NBC comedies that will be returning next year are Parks & Recreation and Community. Happy Endings would fit into that line-up really nicely and they get a ready made show with an automatic audience instead of having to build something from scratch.
Seriously, NBC's ratings right now are so abysmal that I think they really have to commit to the "if you build it they will come" mentality and put the emphasis on quality programming for a while.

Go on is quite good and would compliment this show well.

Unsabotageable is one of the funniest 22mins of TV you'll ever watch.
This show is brilliant, if this gets cancelled I'm selling my TV and giving up.

You may as well put it in the classifieds now, because this is toast unless another network picks it up. They're burning off the remaining episodes two at a time.

Re: Happy Endings *US pace*
Its criminal to cancel this... With Adam Pally in Iron Man.. Basically playing Max.. Maybe that will do something to keep it going.

Happy Endings *US pace*
That tennis montage was the funniest thing this show has ever done.

Very annoying. I'd rather this than Community, and I love Community.

It's pretty annoying that Happy Endings has been cancelled, but How I Met Your Mother, which has easily been treading water the last 4/5 years, is going into its 9th season this year (I enjoy HIMYM, but it's not a patch on this).
I'm trying not to get my hopes up regarding another network picking it up, as these things are always rumoured and hardly ever come to fruition.

whaatttttt... Half the cast is doing something else?
Quote:
Though the message has prompted many user replies hoping for a revival of the show, that seems unlikely, given some of the cast member’s current gigs: Elisha Cuthbert is set to star in NBC’s One Big Happy, Zachary Knighton is keeping busy with Fox’s upcoming Weird Loners and Casey Wilson currently appears in the Peacock comedy Marry Me (though its future is up in the air).
That said, of the show’s remaining key players, Adam Pally just left The Mindy Project, Eliza Coupe’s Benched was cancelled last month and Damon Wayans Jr. announced he’ll exit New Girl at the end of Season 4 (though he is being courted heavily during pilot season

Heck, I'd be happy with a blu-ray complete boxset. This show has been treated really ******

It'd be good to see new episodes of this, always enjoyed it. Caught an episode of Marry Me after recognising the woman who played Penny and even though she pretty much plays the same character it just didn't do it for me.

Marry Me is from the same team as Happy Endings (Casey Wilson - Penny - is married to the creator of both shows, David Caspe) & the humour is generally the same tone, but the cast just doesn't click as well as the Happy Endings gang. Still quite watchable though.

I suspect that there will be a reunion of sorts in marry me. It's a good show but it's basically the same as happy endings with the same beats and character speeches etc but it's lacking the spark of happy endings.
Casey wiksons character in marry me has mentioned happy endings a couple of times. And a lot of the support cast is in marry me - rob riggle, rob Hubble. I hope it gets a chance as it's very watchable.
