Youth Cup semi-final second leg just kicked off on MUTV - our players were rested over the weekend for this one so should be well up for it.

Well we've not really gained a point have we cause Chelsea are just 6 behind us now. What we have done is just chalked another game off. Am i right in thinking we have 4 at home and just 1 away?

Like I said last 9 points should do it. Chelsea will finish above Arsenal now.
I really don't understand this notion that if you dare to criticise or have a negative opinion about the team then you are labelled a gloryhunter.

Oh yeah forgot about the Blackburn game. I remember the 0-0 there last year. That would have won us the league if we had won there.

Some game at WHL tonight, Spurs could have easily won it, I was cheering them on as I want them to finish in the top 4 again this season for another CL run!

Who the hell suggested that? What winds me up is that after a fantastic couple of victories over Chelsea in the CL, it only takes a disappointing defeat in a derby and a point away from the home and we suddenly hopeless, the fans deserve an apology, etc, etc...
Hardly gloryhunting to criticise the side, there is plenty of criticisms to me made, but it seems to be far too harsh at times on here. Certain posters only contribute on the negative stuff, never see them when we win!

And the kids are into the FA Youth Cup final; having been 3-2 down after the Stamford Bridge game they won this one 4-0 (6-3 agg) with a Will Keane hattrick and an outstanding game from Morrison

Totally. Could really do with going into the Arsenal/Chelsea games with the 6 point lead intact, given memories of how our last big double header (Liverpool then Chelsea garnering 0 points) turned out.

The team for today -
VDS, O'Shea, Ferdinand, Evans, Fabio, Valencia, Gibson, Anderson, Nani, Rooney, Hernandez
Slightly nervous...

Well, not disappointed to see Fabio in place of Evra as i think he needs a break, but O'Shea and Evans in the back four doesn't fill me with confidence. Are we starting to see injuries again or are Vidic, Smalling and Rafael being rested? Gibson and Anderson in midfield has the feel of a Carling Cup match, that is a slightly worrying combination, but at least we have both of our flying wingers at the same time. Is Fergie relying on our home form to see us through with a weakened side?

I have no problem with O'Shea being in the team as long as Valencia helps him by tracking Baines or even better pin him back. Evans is more than capable of dealing with Beckford and Osman but if it comes to Everton bringing on Cahill and Anichebe then I wouldn't be as confident. The midfield is very worrying though with neither player being particularly defensive or in good form.
