Good TV shows
Hello,
Looking to get into watching some TV. Have access to stuff on Sky and prepared to buy from US if not over here yet. What would you recommend watching? I get kind of put off when there are already 5 series out there!
Anything good really.

You at least need to limit it to a genre, or mention a few series you enjoy.*
*This isn't the title of a TV programme BTW.**
**By the way.

ok,
I'm looking for anything genuinely funny (in an offbeat way) or interesting. I have little attention span so anything with multiple series already is something I'm likely not to get through. I like:
Arrested Development, Weeds, Spaced, Scrubs, Nip/Tuck, Dollhouse, True Blood.
preferably something from the last couple of years

Coupling, slightly old but very funny and cleverly written. BBC so each season is 9 -12ish 25 minute episodes
Burn Notice is clever and funny and has interesting characters but doesn't require Lost/Wire levels of concentration. Likewise Leverage S1 and White Collar.
If you want something with more drama then Sons of Anarchy is very very good. As is The Wire (5 seasons of 13 episodes of brilliance)
All these 3 are cable shows so 13 episode seasons Burn notice is halfway through S3, Leverage halfway through S2 and Sons ends S2 tonight. White Collar is half way through S1

I gave up on Hank Moodies child man act when he never ever suffered any real consequences to his actions.
